The compulsory piece for the 2023 All Japan Band Competition has been decided as follows.

　March "Shimmering Morning" / Keigo Makino (32nd Asahi Composition Award)
　March "Dream of Pegasus" / Toru Mizuguchi
　Polonaise and Aria for brass band / Hideki Miyashita
　Retro / Masamichi Amano (commissioned work)

According to the All Japan Band Association, the order of the pieces to be assigned has not yet been determined. Sheet music, CDs, and DVDs are scheduled to be sold in late January 2023.
