Hello to all drummers who love Sound House! My name is Nishino and I am in charge of the drums department.
Using drumsticks that suit your playing style and the songs you play are indispensable for drum playing.
This time, I would like to introduce PEARL's drumsticks for such drummers.
Classic Series
This series represents the Pearl brand the most with many long-selling products. The lineup consists mainly of models with a clear lacquer finish and sticks made of not only popular hickory but also heavy and durable oak and the lightest and densest maple.
Pearl / 110HC Drumstick Hickory Clear Lacquer
This is a long-selling product with a good total balance! I would like to introduce this product first because I would like you to choose drumsticks based on this product.
The sticks are made of hickory wood, the most popular material for drumsticks, and the tips are ball tips for easy handling.
The Pearl drumstick 110HC with a clear lacquer finish truly marks these as the standard among drumsticks!
Pearl / 110AC Drumstick Oak Clear Lacquer
This drumstick is equivalent to the 110HC model but made from oak wood. Oak wood enhances its weight and hardness, allowing for powerful performances. Its high durability and resistance to breaking are also appealing features.
Pearl / 110ABC Drumstick Oak Black Lacquer
This model uses oak wood just like the 110AC with dimensions of 14.5 x 398mm, and features a black lacquer finish.
Black-colored drumsticks are highly popular and they look cool just sitting on a drum set, don't they?

Natural Series
These drumsticks utilize the natural properties of wood without any lacquer coating. The main feature of the Natural Series is that they are finished only with polishing after shaping the stick. This results in a rough surface texture that absorbs sweat, increases grip strength, so I recommend these for drummers who are prone to sweaty hands.
Pearl / 103NH Drumstick Hickory Natural
This drumstick is designed for ease of use, featuring a ball tip and a slim, shorter size. The Natural series drumsticks are prized for their wood's natural surface, which enhances both feel and the sound produced during closed rimshots. If you haven't tried them yet, drummers, there's no better time to give them a shot!
Pearl / 7NH Drumstick Hickory Natural
It's a slender and long drumstick measuring 13x397mm. Due to its suitability for delicate touches like pianissimo, it's ideal for performing wind ensemble pieces.
Focusing on the tip, it looks like this with a teardrop shape and allows for significant changes in tone color with just this one piece!

Heavy Lacquer Series
The clear lacquer coating is thicker than usual, giving the entire stick a moist and wet feel with a highly adherent grip. These are recommended for drummers with dry skin and less sweaty hands, as well as for those who hold the drumsticks in a way that doesn't require a strong hold, such as the French grip or regular grip.
Pearl / 110LH Drumstick Hickory Clear Heavy Lacquer
This model has a good balance between the standard position and the heavy lacquer series. Recommended for first-time buyers of heavy lacquer finished sticks. This is a long best-selling product that you should try first!
Pearl / 103LH Drumstick Hickory Heavy Clear Lacquer
This model is a thinner and shorter version of the 110LH and is recommended for smaller players and those who are not confident in their power.
Artist Series
These drumsticks are filled with the attention to detail of professional drummers who are active in various genres. The Artist signature models give you a sense of your favorite drummer's taste in specs and design.
Pearl / 132M Drumstick Murakami “Ponta” Shuichi Model
With a smaller tip and shorter scale, this is a model unique to Murakami “Ponta” Shuichi san and is suitable for more delicate stick work. It is a drumstick that easily responds to sudden ideas and I recommend it to everyone. This is the very same model that Murakami san himself used as his main set of drumsticks in his later years.
Pearl / 165H/2 Drumstick Shinya Model
Dir en Grey/ Seraph drummer shinya's drumsticks have a white lacquer finish with an original illustration printed in gold that shines through. The ball tip makes it easy to control.
Pearl / 158H/4 Drumstick Yukihiro Model
The new model appeared in 2022 in a new design! L'Arc~en~Ciel’s drummer, Yukihiro has his own signature model. By adopting a round tip and shorter size, this drumstick matches the tight and sharp playing style.
Brush, Mallet, Percussion Stick
Pearl has been making brushes and mallets for a long time. I would like to introduce some of these products, as they are worthy of being called "classic" products.
Pearl / 722C Wire Brush
This popular wire brush has been a bestseller for over 40 years. It's commonly used not only in jazz but also in acoustic live performances where a slightly subdued volume is preferred. Its wire section can be retracted into the main body, allowing for convenient storage in stick cases and similar containers. Additionally, the wooden handle provides a comfortable grip, which is another reason for its popularity.
Pearl / 655-H Mallet Hard
These mallets are designed with nearly the same balance as a drumstick, intended for use alongside drumsticks. By using a firm felt head, it emphasizes attack to produce a pronounced sound.
Training Oak Stick
It's a slightly heavier and longer oak model designed for training to develop rebound sensitivity and verify stroke range, thereby expanding technique proficiency. Available in two types, 2S and 3S, and you can choose the thickness according to your preference. You can feel PEARL's dedication even in their training sticks!
Pearl / 3S
The 3S features an astonishing thickness of 18×433mm that was truly crafted for drumming training purposes. The taper section, as shown in the image below, is particularly distinctive! This design shifts the center of gravity towards the grip side and provides a rebound sensation while making the strokes themselves feel lighter despite the thickness. It's tailored for practicing double and triple strokes effectively.

How was that? Pearl’s drumsticks come in many varieties across their series.
I sincerely believe this extensive range reflects the years of Pearl continuously creating drumsticks that drummers seek.
If you're looking for drumsticks, why not start by considering the large range of drumsticks by Pearl?
