TAMA’s Hot 50th Anniversary Products!

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the TAMA brand this year, limited edition and reissue models are now available! The lineup ranges from drum sets to drum accessories. Limited production models are also available, so please take a look at them if you are interested.

TAMA / SU42RS-AQM SUPERSTAR 4-Piece Shell Kit

The Superstar is back as a limited edition model after more than 40 years!
The shell is an all birch shell 9mm thicker than modern drums. This kit can achieve a powerful attack and a deep bass sound.
Four colors are available: Aqua Marine, Super Maple, Super Mahogany, and Cherry Wine, which were popular colors in the early 80s.

TAMA / MBA52RZBNS-CI Starclassic Mirage 5-Piece Shell Kit

The 50th anniversary model of the Acrylic Shell Drum Kit.
It has high transparency and shines when illuminated on stage. Another appeal of this model is that it provides stable sound release that’s unaffected by humidity and temperature.

■ Snare Drums

TAMA / BB-156 Mastercraft THE BELL BRASS 14 "x6.5"

The Bell Brass has been used in many iconic rock albums of the 1980s and 1990s.
The super-heavyweight shells provide overwhelming sound pressure and a wide range that covers a wide range of sound frequencies!
In the reissue model, the outer diameter of the shell is set at 355mm, 2mm larger than the usual diameter.

TAMA / 8056 Mastercraft STEEL 14 "x6.5"

Mastercraft Steel Snare 8056 has been reissued as a limited edition model.
The 1.2mm shell is thicker than usual to create a heavy and powerful attack sound. The characteristic 8-line pattern on the shell has also been reproduced.

In addition to the above two snare drums, Mastercraft Rosewood and Mastercraft Artwood Birch are also available.

■ Hardware

The popular product Iron Cobra is now available in a special 50th anniversary model, the Marble Edition!
This model features a psychedelic pattern and a special glossy coating.
As with the regular Iron Cobra, the lineup includes two models: the Power Glide, which increases the speed of the beater head just before it hits the head, and the Rolling Glide, which has a natural action.
Two colors are available: Coral Swirl and Psychedelic Rainbow.

TAMA / QC8B4PU Cymbal Mate

The best-selling Cymbal Mate is now available in limited edition colors!
The limited edition color comes in three colors: simple gray, bright orange, and purple.
Like the regular model QC8, it can be attached and detached with a single touch by pushing the two ends of the body together as if pinching them.

TAMA / TDR-50TH Drum Rug

Limited edition drum rug with TAMA 50th anniversary logo. It’s 2,000mm x 1,800mm in width, just the right size for setting up a single drum. It also comes with Velcro tape to hold the drum rug in place for convenient transportation.
