I would like to introduce you to the hot new item the CLASSIC PRO DCP100, an ultra-compact Bluetooth power amplifier that is finally now in stock at Sound House.

This is the packaging!! Simple is best!!

When you open the box, this is what it looks like inside.

You can find the power amplifier, the power adapter, and the included cable underneath the user manual🎵

I was surprised when I took out the power adapter from the white box! It’s bigger than the power amp itself! Lol.

Here are the input and output jacks. The USB Type-C input jack can be used to connect to a computer. Just select the DCP100 on your playback device. The AUX is a stereo mini, so you can connect any portable music player, smartphone, tablet, or any other device with audio output. One of the most interesting things about the DCP100 is that it has a headphone output. Connect your headphones here to mute the speaker, which is perfect when you want to use it at night.

The speaker connectors on the back are the binding post type. Loosen the knob to expose the connecting hole in the post, where you can insert the bare wire, then tighten the knob (Please note that banana plugs like the SKB series from CLASSIC PRO are not supported.)

It’s great that it comes with three types of connecting cables. If you have all these cables, you should be able to connect at least something. Lol.
Stereo Mini - Stereo Mini cable (approx. 90cm)
Stereo Mini - RCAx2 cable (approx. 140cm)
USB cable (Type-C - Type-A, approx. 90cm)

First, I tried the DCP100 with my EMINENCE/ALPHA 3-8 speakers built in the Fostex/P800-E speaker boxes on my desk in the office! These speaker units with 8-ohm nominal impedance and PGM of 60W should be perfect with the DCP100 that has a maximum output of 50W!

The iPhone detects and displays the DCP100 as soon as you turn it on, so it’s easy to pair them. The first thing I felt when I listened to the sound was the volume, which was more than enough. The output volume is almost the same as a mini-component, so I think it would be fine for desktop use or even a large living room. I also would recommend it for playing background music in a store. It’s small so it’s not noticeable and it doesn’t take up space. It’s great that you can use it right away if you have a passive speaker!
The sound quality depends on the cable, the speaker, the sound source, and the environment, so it’s hard to say, but I didn’t feel any problem as long as I played the downloaded sound source on my iPhone using my speaker. Just like when I listened to the same sound source with earphones, I felt it reproduced the same clear and powerful sounds of the original.
Considering the amazing 2,980 yen price including tax (as of November 10, 2021), there is no way I can complain. Lol.
If you’re around 40 and still have the speakers to your mini-component system that you bought years ago but the main stereo unit no longer plays back music, take those speakers out of your closet!! The CLASSIC PRO DCP100, which is ‘awesome’ to say the least, is a power amplifier recommended for those who want to enjoy music with little effort and wirelessly with Bluetooth on both smartphones and computers.
