Support Diary Vol.5! Is this a product defect? Is it possible to solve the problem by changing how I use it? We will introduce various cases based on the details of inquiries from customers.

● Part 1: TC HELICON / Talkbox Synth

*Inquiries: "There is no sound"

The "Talkbox Synth" is a popular compact vocal effector that can easily generate vocoder sounds and robot voices. We sometimes get inquiries from end users saying that there is no sound. However, this effect is designed so that effects are applied by inputting a mic while a guitar is connected the Talkbox INST IN / INST THRU. Please check this just in case!

● Part 2: Aspen Pittman Designs / Spacestation V.3 Powered Stereo Monitor Speaker

*Inquiries: "There's no output from one of the speakers."

The "Spacestation V.3" is a compact powered stereo monitor speaker that outputs 3D stereo sound in a range of 300 degrees from one cabinet. The symptom is that there is no sound from one of the speakers. Please check if your signal is a monaural signal and the same signal isn't being input to the LEFT & RIGHT inputs on the back.

● Part 3: LITEPUTER / DX-402A Standard stage dimmer

*Inquiry content: "The lamp is only turns ON and OFF even if the fader position is changed."

The "DX-402A" is a dimming unit that can control 4 channels with two outputs each. Please confirm that the operation mode is set to "d" for dimming, just in case, if the lamp is only turns ON and OFF when the fader position is changed.

[Dimming/Switching settings]

• Press the DMX button to enter DMX mode.
• Press the FNC button for 3 seconds and all channels with default settings will show the following as the factory default settings. This indicates dimming mode.
  
• Press the FNC button to select the channel.
• Select the dimming (0-100% dimming function) mode by using the up and down buttons.
  

● Part 4: BEHRINGER / CX2310 V2 channel divider

*Inquiries: "There is no signal from MIDI output when using MONO 3WAY."

The "CX2310 V2" channel divider can set stereo 2way / monaural 3way. When it is switched to the monaural 3way mode with the MODE switch on the rear of the device (when the switch is not pushed in), the first channel MONO-LED located above the LOW CUT switch on the front panel lights up. Also check to ensure the XOVER FREQ button on the back is set the same.

● Part 5: K&M / 18990 Keyboard Stand X Type

*Inquiry content: "The lock is easily released (i.e., the lever is loose)."

The "18990" X-type keyboard stand allows you to add stacking arms, a microphone boom, music stand, etc. to your liking. As for the symptom where the lock comes off easily, the nut may need to be tighter. If the nut is not tightened sufficiently, it may open when a heavy keyboard is placed on the stand. Remove the resin cap of the lock shaft for the adjuster nut and adjust tighten it more.
* A tool, such as a spanner or a monkey wrench, is required to tighten the nut.

● Part 6: CLASSIC PRO / KOK1000 Karaoke Amplifier

*Inquiries: "The display is scratched."

The "KOK1000" is a very popular karaoke amplifier with many useful functions including vocal cut and feedback suppression. The symptom of a scratched display is a common inquiries not only for KOK1000 but also for clip tuners. In many cases, a protective plastic film is attached to the display, so very often, removing the protective film will solve the problem. The film on some products is affixed so that it is hard to tell it is there. It will be easier to peel off if you peel off the end of the film using tape!
