DRAWMER / 1970 Dual FET compressor, microphone preamplifier

A new dual-FET compressor/preamp that builds upon the company's 1960 model while featuring a significantly expanded set of functions.

The 1970's feature set is similar to the Drawmer 1960, but the 1970 is significantly improved, with the DI EQ fine-tuned for greater accuracy.

The 1970 uses the latest THAT Corporation technology with two microphone preamps to deliver extremely clean, transparent, and accurate recordings that can be processed later using your preferred warming method, including saturation, valve, transformer, and tape. Furthermore, each channel offers 66dB of gain, and switchable microphone impedance for precise microphone matching ensures you get the best out of any microphone you use. It also features phantom power, phase reverse, and a high-pass filter.

The 1970 is a versatile tool for any studio or live event, from tracking instruments with its dedicated DI input to recording vocals with ultra-clean microphone preamps, recording guitar cabinets with two microphones, recording singers playing guitar, and even compressing stereo buses with its comprehensive linking and mixing functions.
