Variations

The MX60 Pro is a mic/line/instrument channel strip that upgrades the input stage of your interface or recorder during recording with numerous high-quality Drawmer processing functions. It features studio-grade microphone preamps, gate, de-esser, compressor, limiter, 3-band EQ, and multiband tube saturation stage, providing extremely versatile sound control.

INPUT:

The input stage can be switched to accept microphone, line, or instrument-level signals.

The XLR microphone input has switchable 48V phantom power and phase reverse, while the line input is equipped with both a +4dB balanced TRS jack and a -10dB unbalanced terminal.

A high-impedance instrument input is located on the front panel for use with electric guitars, basses, synthesizers, and drum machines.

Program Adaptive Gate:

Drawmer's proprietary Program Adaptive circuitry automatically controls the gate in real time. This enables stable gating and eliminates ""chattering"" near the threshold. It is controlled via a single variable threshold value and switchable fast/slow auto-release.

De-Esser:

Floating threshold de-essing is achieved by automatically and continuously readjusting the de-esser threshold value level. The MX60 de-esser is almost fully automated; users simply select a switchable male or female setting and adjust the desired amount of de-essing. Only sibilance is subject to gain reduction, avoiding the risping effect of simpler de-essers.

EQ:

Equipped with a fully parametric midrange EQ featuring high and low shelf sections, variable frequency, ""Q,"" and ±18dB cut/boost.

Compressor:

Equipped with a high-quality VCA compressor based on the MX30 and DL241. Both attack and release times are Program Adaptive, allowing users to adjust only the ratio, threshold, and makeup gain.

Tubesound:

Multiband ""Tube Saturation"" delivers a warm, harmonically rich, and clear sound. Lowering all band settings allows for the reproduction of classic tube microphone sounds.

OUTPUT:

The output stage features a limiter with a preset threshold value (+16dB) and a variable master fader with output bar graph metering that sets the overall output level from OFF to +15dB.

A two-stage soft/hard limiting approach is employed, and signal clipping can be monitored using yellow and red LEDs.

*Note: There may be some crackling noise when turning the GAIN knob around the 12 o'clock position on the INPUT GAIN knob, but this is not a malfunction.

This crackling noise occurs at the point where the internal contacts switch due to the use of a dual-gang potentiometer; please avoid using it at that point.

Grass Roots

MX60は、最も成功したDrawmer製品からその技術を導入しています。マイクプリアンプは伝説的なDrawmer 1960と同じディスクリートコンポーネント設計を採用し、ディエッサーはMX50から、VCAベースのコンプレッサーはMX30に似ており、ピークリミッターとゲートはDL241コンプレッサー/リミッターまで遡ることができます。

The Controls:

De-Esser: 自動的にスレッショルドレベルを再調整するフローティング・スレッショルド・ディエッサー。MX60ディエッサーは、ほぼ完全に自動化されており、ユーザーは男性または女性の切り替えと、必要なディエッシング量の調整のみを行えばよいのです。歯擦音のみがゲインリダクションの対象となるため、よりシンプルなディエッサーに見られるリスピング効果（サ行発音不全）はありません。
EQ: 高域および低域のシェルビングセクションと、可変周波数、「Q」、±18dB カット/ブーストを備えた完全パラメトリック中域 EQ
Compressor: MX30 および DL241 のコンプレッサーをベースにした高品質の VCA コンプレッサー。アタックタイムとリリースタイムは両方ともプログラム・アダプティブタイプのため、ユーザーが調整できるのはレシオ、スレッショルド、メイクアップゲインのみです。
Tube sound: マルチバンドの「チューブサチュレーション」により、ユーザーは 3 つの独立して調整可能なオーディオバンドを介して、繊細なウォーム感や高周波エフェクト、または徹底的に明白なエフェクトを作成できます。すべての帯域を低く設定すると、クラシックなチューブマイクサウンドを再現できます。
