DRAWMER / SP2120

A speaker protector that protects speaker systems and complies with noise regulations by suppressing excessive sound pressure levels that exceed a threshold.

Spikes and pops in audio signals, as well as improper operation by performers, can damage speakers, amplifiers, and other electronic devices. The SP2120 effectively protects against these accidents.

Operation of the SP2120 requires a key, and you can restrict users from changing settings and other operations.

The SP2120's front panel incorporates a security lock, restricting maximum volume level adjustment only to the keychain owner. In ""Unlocked"" mode, two front-panel presets are displayed and adjustable by the installer. The first adjusts a 16-segment left/right bar graph to the incoming audio, specifying the point at which ""protection"" processing begins. The second sets the absolute volume level the sound system is capable of. As the SP2120 receives increased signal levels, a transparent ""protection"" circuit activates, maintaining the specified system volume level without degrading sound quality. The SP2120 benefits greatly from Drawmer's 25 years of experience designing industry-standard dynamic processing devices.

Unlike other protectors that simply shut off the power or disconnect the speakers, the SP2120 provides natural level control.
