Variations

The MX60 Pro is a mic/line/instrument channel strip that upgrades the input stage of your interface or recorder with a wealth of high-quality Drawmer processing. Featuring a studio-grade mic preamp, gate, de-esser, compressor, limiter, 3-band EQ, and multi-band tube saturation stage, it offers unparalleled sonic control.

INPUT:
The input stage is switchable to accept mic, line, or instrument-level signals.
The XLR mic input has switchable 48V phantom power and phase reverse, while the line input features both a +4dB balanced TRS jack and a -10dB unbalanced jack.
A high-impedance instrument input is located on the front panel for use with electric guitar, bass, synthesizer, and drum machines.

Program Adaptive Gate:
Drawmer's unique Program Adaptive circuit automatically controls the gate in real time. This provides stable gating and eliminates ""chatter"" around the threshold. Control is via a single variable threshold and switchable fast/slow auto release.

De-Esser:
Implements floating threshold de-essing, automatically and continuously readjusting the de-esser threshold level. The MX60 De-esser is almost fully automated, allowing users to simply select the switchable male or female setting and adjust the amount of de-essing desired. Only sibilants are subject to gain reduction, avoiding the lisping effect of simpler de-essers.

EQ:
Features high- and low-shelf sections, as well as a fully parametric midrange EQ with variable frequency, Q, and ±18dB cut/boost.

Compressor:
Features a high-quality VCA compressor based on the MX30 and DL241. Both attack and release times are program adaptive, allowing users to adjust only the ratio, threshold, and makeup gain.

Tubesound:
Multi-band ""tube saturation"" delivers a warm, harmonically rich, and clear sound. Lowering all bands recreates the classic tube microphone sound.

OUTPUT:
The output stage features a limiter with a preset threshold (+16dB) and a variable master fader with output bargraph metering to set the overall output level from OFF to +15dB.
A two-stage soft/hard limiting approach is used, and yellow and red LEDs allow you to monitor signal clipping.

Note: When turning the INPUT GAIN knob around 12 o'clock, you may hear a crackling sound, but this is not a malfunction.
Since a dual potentiometer is used, the crackling sound occurs where the internal contacts switch, so please avoid this area when using the unit.

Grass Roots

MX60は、最も成功したDrawmer製品からその技術を導入しています。マイクプリアンプは伝説的なDrawmer 1960と同じディスクリートコンポーネント設計を採用し、ディエッサーはMX50から、VCAベースのコンプレッサーはMX30に似ており、ピークリミッターとゲートはDL241コンプレッサー/リミッターまで遡ることができます。

The Controls:

Input stage: XLRマイク入力は48Vファンタム電源と位相反転の切り替えが可能で、ライン入力はバランス+4dB TRSジャックとアンバランス-10dBジャックの両方に対応しています。フロントパネルには、エレキギター、ベース、シンセ、ドラムマシン用のハイインピーダンス・インストゥルメント・ジャックがあります。
Program Adaptive Gate: Drawmer独自のProgram Adaptive 回路は、素材となる信号に合わせて自動的に最適化します。これにより、安定したゲーティングが可能になり、スレッショルド付近での「チャタリング」が解消されます。単一の可変スレッショルドと切り替え可能な高速/低速オートリリースで制御します。
De-Esser: 自動的にスレッショルドレベルを再調整するフローティング・スレッショルド・ディエッサー。MX60ディエッサーは、ほぼ完全に自動化されており、ユーザーは男性または女性の切り替えと、必要なディエッシング量の調整のみを行えばよいのです。歯擦音のみがゲインリダクションの対象となるため、よりシンプルなディエッサーに見られるリスピング効果（サ行発音不全）はありません。
EQ: 高域および低域のシェルビングセクションと、可変周波数、「Q」、±18dB カット/ブーストを備えた完全パラメトリック中域 EQ
Compressor: MX30 および DL241 のコンプレッサーをベースにした高品質の VCA コンプレッサー。アタックタイムとリリースタイムは両方ともプログラム・アダプティブタイプのため、ユーザーが調整できるのはレシオ、スレッショルド、メイクアップゲインのみです。
Tube sound: マルチバンドの「チューブサチュレーション」により、ユーザーは 3 つの独立して調整可能なオーディオバンドを介して、繊細なウォーム感や高周波エフェクト、または徹底的に明白なエフェクトを作成できます。すべての帯域を低く設定すると、クラシックなチューブマイクサウンドを再現できます。
Output: Outputステージには、プリセットされたスレッショルド値 (+16dB) を持つリミッターと、全体の出力レベルを OFF から +15dB まで設定する出力バーグラフメーターが含まれています。 2段階のソフト/ハード制限アプローチが採用されており、黄色と赤色のLEDがソフト(制限点に近づいている)とハード(制限点に達している)を示します。
