Groundbreaking Direct Tone
The fusion of a Class A discrete amplifier and Rupert's custom transformer brings brilliance to your sound. The RNDI is a direct box named after recording legend Rupert Neve, born from a combination of special components and exceptional design expertise.

Huge Headroom
With +21.5 dBu headroom, it's ample for both instruments and the line outputs of professional equipment. In speaker mode, it can handle and properly convert the full output of a power amplifier up to 1000W (92 Vrms or 266 Vp-p). *The RNDI does not have a dummy load function, so tube amplifiers must always be routed through to a speaker.

Rugged Solid-Steel Frame - Steel Clamshell Chassis
RNDI's rugged construction, featuring a solid steel chassis, is a key feature. Despite its simple design, the RNDI's connectors and switches are designed to protect against snagging and damage. The rubber feet also act as shock absorbers.

Takes All Kinds - Supports a Variety of Input Sources
RNDI's 2 MΩ discrete FET inputs and ample headroom allow you to convert a wide variety of sources—from bass, guitar, and acoustic instruments to keyboards, synthesizers, and even the line outputs of professional equipment.

Drive Longer Lines - No Worries About Long Cable Runs
The sub-50 Ω low-impedance, transformer-coupled output minimizes high-frequency loss, even over long cable runs.

1/4"" THRU Output
Used to split the input signal. Connect to an instrument amplifier in Instrument Mode, or to the input of a speaker cabinet in Speaker Mode.

Best in Class Phase Coherence
Phase variation is minimized across the entire frequency range. This results in a balanced, natural sound and prevents cancellations caused by phase differences when mixing direct and microphoned sounds from the same source.

Ground Lift
A ground lift switch is provided on the rear panel to eliminate ground noise and other issues.

Phantom Powered
The RNDI is powered by standard 48V phantom power. When powered, the LED on the front panel will illuminate blue.
