CROWN / XTi 2002 Stereo Power Amplifier

The CROWN (AMCRON)/XTi2002 is a power amplifier equipped with a high-performance DSP, providing high output performance and ample power for driving even large speakers. The LCD display allows for easy access to various settings, including crossover, equalizer, delay, and limiter. The dedicated Band Manager 2 software also allows for more advanced settings on a PC.

The XTi 2002's high-performance DSP enables a variety of audio processing functions to be performed on a single unit without the need for a separate processor. The crossover slope can be freely selected from Butterworth (6, 12, 18, 24, 48 dB/octave) or Linkwitz-Riley (24, 48 dB/octave), and the frequency can be set to any value in 1 Hz increments. Each channel is equipped with 8-point input and 6-point output parametric EQ and up to 50 ms of delay. Additionally, a subharmonic synthesizer synthesizes ultra-low frequencies based on the input signal, delivering powerful, deep bass.

Up to 49 DSP settings can be stored internally as presets and instantly recalled, making setup quick and easy. A pink noise generator is also provided for convenient system checks. Detailed DSP settings and preset storage can be performed using HiQnet System Architect software on a PC connected via USB. HiQnet Band Manager software is also available for the XTi. The XTi 2002 packs class-leading output performance into a lightweight, compact body. Equipped with a low-heat, highly efficient switching power supply, it delivers 1,000W + 1,000W at 2Ω stereo and 2,000W at 4Ω bridged mono, easily driving even large speakers. Additionally, the Peak X Plus limiter allows precise adjustment of threshold, attack, and release to maximize output performance. Its lightweight and portable design make it ideal for temporary PA systems.

The XTi 2002's input signal can be routed internally. It also features a link terminal for branching the input signal. Two output terminals are available: a binding post and a Speakon. The front panel also features a large backlit LCD display for recalling presets and setting DSP settings. It also features a lock function to prevent display operation.
