Hello everyone, how are you doing?
As for me, I’ve been spending my weekends going to all kinds of idol concerts, living with the motto: “Just go for your favorite!” (lol)
So… I recently went to see INI, the 11-member global boy group who were on their arena tour at Anabuki Arena!
In this post, I would like to share what the atmosphere at the venue was like.
If you’re thinking: “Wait, who’s INI?” This is the perfect chance to look them up♪
Let’s start with an introduction to Anabuki Arena!
Opened in spring 2025 under the concept “A new sense of excitement is born in Setouchi”, Anabuki Arena in Takamatsu, Kagawa is now one of the largest arenas in the Chugoku–Shikoku region. The venue boasts a main arena that can accommodate up to 10,000 people, along with a sub arena and martial arts facilities. It’s a multipurpose space used not only for concerts, but also for sporting events, fashion shows, and more.
You may remember the buzz surrounding its grand opening concerts by Southern All Stars that was held on March 1–2, 2025.
I personally made my way there from JR Takamatsu Station, but the venue is also very accessible on foot, or within a 10-minute walk, from highway bus terminals, ferry ports, and high-speed boat piers.
Near Takamatsu Station, you’ll find Takamatsu ORNE, a shopping complex directly connected to the station, and the Takamatsu Symbol Tower. Both are great spots to grab a bite or do some shopping before the show!
Official websites below:
For the two-day concert, the Symbol Tower kindly set up a temporary baggage storage area, which was a huge help, especially for those of us traveling from out of town, since all the coin lockers at Takamatsu Station were already full...
Now then, once you exit JR Takamatsu Station and head straight to the left, it’s just a 3-4 minute walk to Anabuki Arena! It’s so close that there’s no need to worry about getting lost.
It might be a little hard to tell, but in the photo below, the left side is the sub arena, and the right side is the main arena.

The concert took place in the main arena, but the sub arena was opened up as the merchandise sales area. Goods are sold on the sub arena floor, and part of the stands were also open as a rest area. It was incredibly hot, so having that space open was a total lifesaver… (lol)
The sub and main arenas are connected via the foyer. You do have to step outside briefly, but since there's a roofed pathway, it protects you from direct sunlight and rain.
Now, stepping into the main arena, my first impression was:
“It’s so white!!!”
It’s probably because the venue is brand new, but the floor, ceiling, and walls are all white, which was pretty surprising. The wide walkways and overall spaciousness really stand out too. It’s honestly the perfect place to take “fan life” photos with paper fans, photocards, acrylic stands, and more.♪
They also had the toilet occupancy monitors that had been trending on X! There were plenty of bathrooms and the turnover was smooth, so there weren’t any crazy long lines.

The overall impression of the venue matched exactly what’s shown in the facility introduction video on the official website, so I definitely recommend checking it out!
■ Facility Introduction Video
I got an arena seat this time, so I’m not sure how the view was from the stand seats, but from where I sat, my impressions were: “Great visibility!” and “Excellent sound!”
I remember feeling a unique sensation, like the sound was both wrapping around me and resonating from below. It’s not something I experience often in an arena. Even the group members on stage said, “We can really hear the fans’ voices!” So, I think the structure of the venue is designed to carry sound well. That clarity helped create a real sense of unity, and the energy in the room was absolutely electric.♪
After the concert, although there was no controlled exit procedure, the crowd moved smoothly, and I was able to get back to Takamatsu Station without any issues♪
All in all, Anabuki Arena was amazing!!
I regularly attend concerts not only in the Kanto region but also in other regions, and this venue was so incredible that I definitely want to go back. Kagawa also has great food and plenty of sightseeing spots, so if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend going!
