Do you use with lights when you use a music stand? When I read music scores in the dark, it's hard to see and I make mistakes ... I think others have had such experiences at some time. Today, I will introduce "music stand lights" by shape, for the purpose of reducing mistakes by illuminating your music during performances.

In this blog, I would like to introduce music stand lights by "shape". There are 5 kinds of "shapes" handled in the blog introduced this time. They are,

There are 5 types. Let's start with the"bar type". A bar type is a light that is a horizontally long light and is shaped like a hammerhead shark's head. K&M, a well-established German brand for which Sound House is the distributor, has released many types, and it features a rich lineup. Each one gives a wonderful impression that can be used universally regardless of what you use it for. The basic color is white light, model number 12298, which is closest to warm colors. Not only is the head bar-shaped, which is a major feature of the light, but also the gooseneck that supports the light is easy to handle. The gooseneck allows you to adjust the direction of the light by bending it to your favorite angle and keeping that angle. Thanks to this feature, when you want to pinpoint the light, you can reach that crazy place!

Next, I would like to introduce the "single type". It's simple in shape, and it's made up of three elements: a light, a gooseneck, and a clip.

The easy-to-use part of this type is that the light is small so it can be easily inserted even in narrow spaces. If you put these lights behind your desk, you can use it as a little indirect lighting to create a fashionable look. The 85625 will be warm and the others will be white.

Now! The next one is the "twin head type". This is a light with two single type heads that look like a snail's heads. The advantage of being a twin head is that it illuminates both the left and right pages when you want to place the book on the music stand in a double-page spread. From here, we will introduce "fashionable" lights that can be used around desktops, as interior lighting, and store menus. It comes in inconspicuous black, the light is a warm light bulb color, and the best feature is that the light bulb is directly fitted instead of the LED. Somewhat retro, it creates a a nostalgic atmosphere. That is the "K&M / 122E".

Personally, this is the product I most recommend, and when I actually used it, the atmosphere was very good. I just took a lot of pictures.

Electricity passes through the halogen lamp, and the filament inside emits light so that burns brilliantly. The amount of light is sufficient to illuminate your hand even after it gets dark. The power supply is a type that plugs into a general outlet, and it can be fixed to a desk and so on with a clamp. The shape is a bit different from the clip-types introduced so far!

By the way, the light bulb gets very hot after a few minutes, so if you touch the light bulb directly when it is lit, you may get burned. Also, since the halogen bulb is made of glass, it will break if it is dropped. It may seem a little inconvenient, but handle it carefully for long-term use.

Finally, I would like to introduce one K&M "USB type" light that is different from the retro 122E and fits stylishly into a modern space. The best feature is that it works by inserting it directly into the USB port, so there is no need to extend the cord to an outlet near your feet. Isn't it perfect for those who work on a PC?
