The Waves SSL 4000 Collection is a bundle of four meticulously modeled plug-ins based on the legendary SSL 4000 Series.

SSL E-Channel, SSL G-Master buss Compressor, SSL G-Equalizer, and the newly added SSL G-Channel. All of these plug-ins were developed under license from Solid State Logic over a period of more than a year, perfectly recreating the unique acoustic characteristics of the SL 4000 factory reference console and each component provided by Solid State Logic.

These plug-ins are so accurate that even experts who work with SSL consoles every day will not be able to tell the difference between the software and the hardware.

■Features
-Perfect reproduction of the SSL 4000 plug-in under license from Solid State Logic.
-Bundled with four plug-ins: SSL E-Channel, SSL G-Channel, SSL G-Master buss Compressor, and SSL G-Equalizer.
-All plug-ins feature a switch function between ""Analog=On"" mode, which faithfully reproduces the characteristics of the original equipment, and ""Analog=Off"" mode, which prioritizes clarity.

■Included Products

・SSL E-Channel
The EQ section, which features high-pass and low-pass filters and a 4-band parametric EQ, was developed in 1983 with legendary engineer George Martin and is known as the ""black knob"" equalizer.
The dynamics section features a soft-knee compressor/limiter and expander/gate based on the SSL LS611E, and the insert point can be selected before or after the EQ section.

・SSL G-Channel
The G-Channel's EQ module allows you to adjust frequencies to the extreme with the pre-boost dip, pre-cut rise, and wide Q of the original hardware.
The dynamics section features a soft-knee compressor/limiter and expander/gate, and this plug-in also reproduces the routing freedom that made the SSL G-Series so popular in control rooms.

・SSL G-Equalizer
Based on the SSL G Series EQ292, this 4-band EQ has a larger gain range and a slightly modified curve compared to the E-Series EQ. This difference has led to the E-Channel being used for problem solving and mixing, while the G-Equalizer is preferred for bold sound creation.

・SSL G-Master Buss Comp
Based on the well-known SSL 4000 G console master bus center compressor, the Waves SSL G-Master Buss Compressor reproduces the unique sound of the IC input and two VCA gain reduction amplifiers used in the hardware. It has been used extensively to adjust piano dynamics and add punch to drums and percussion. This is the compressor sound that can be heard on many historic masterpieces.
