Waves and Abbey Road Studios have brought back the historic TG12345, EMI's first solid-state console, as a plug-in. This desk is a piece of equipment that symbolizes the revolutionary period of sound in the late 60's and 70's, and was used to record the albums that made headlines at the time, including the Beatles and Pink Floyd. Meticulously modeled after every component of the console, the Waves/Abbey Road EMI TG12345 channel strip plug-in captures all the well-known features of the original console, from the mic preamp in the input stage, to the harmonic distortion and hum generated through the circuit, to the bass and treble EQ bands, presence EQ in the console's group/main sections, and the rich-sounding spreader. Best of all, this console's famous compressor/limiter produces a distinctive and captivating sound.
