The F6 is the ultimate EQ for solving a variety of problems in your tracks. It supports everything from equalization compression to expansion de-essing, and can be used for mixing, mastering, in the studio, and live. The six floating bands feature advanced EQ and dynamic controls that allow you to pinpoint problem areas and address them only when they occur.

Rather than fixing the EQ processing of certain frequencies throughout the entire track, the F6 EQ settings are sensitive to the dynamics of the track. This allows you to choose exactly when to apply boost/cut, compression/expansion to that frequency band as well as the amount of EQ processing.

Take vocals for example: a singer's tone changes from moment to moment throughout a performance depending on their position and distance from the mic. An EQ setting that works well when they're singing softly close to the mic may not be as effective when they're singing louder at a distance. The F6 follows the singer over time, triggering the EQ when they reach the set threshold and remaining completely transparent when they're below the threshold.

Wide or narrow the filter Q, freely overlap bands, change the EQ shape. And these EQ settings react to the threshold. With the F6, you can achieve more precise EQ. It is transparent and ideal to identify and isolate the problem areas in your track and process only when the problem occurs. The F6 also features advanced mid-side (MS) processing, which is excellent for busy mixes. It creates space for EQ shaping and brings vivid breath to your mix.
