Comparing Recommended Carry Carts!!

While the dangerously hot weather continues and people are worried about heat stroke, events are being held all over Japan that are hotter than the summer heat. Speaking of events, music equipment is going to be needed. Speaking of music equipment, it is quite difficult to transport. Speaking of equipment that is difficult to transport, I halfway associate it with carry carts that can carry heavy equipment with ease (lol)... This time, I would like to introduce MAGNA CART, a popular brand of carry carts handled by Sound House.

MAGNA CART

MAGNA CART is a brand of carry carts established in 1997 in the U.S.A. The compact and lightweight models MCX and MCI were launched in 2005 and became bestsellers, followed by the second generation hand trucks MC2 and MCK in 2008. In 2010, the four-wheel type foldable cart FF was introduced. The compact, lightweight design and robust construction that defies conventional wisdom of carry carts boasts outstanding stability when carrying heavy loads and, above all, excellent portability.
The globally popular MAGNA CART carry cart can be used not only for transporting documents and cardboard boxes at home or in the office, but also for transporting musical instruments and equipment.
In this issue, I am trying out two of MAGNA CART's carry carts, the MCK and MC2, which were launched in 2008, and I will introduce them to you.

MCK and MC2

The MCK is a very popular carry cart/hand truck model. With a load capacity of 68 kg, it can carry effectors, amps, and other equipment, as well as coolers. It is also height-adjustable to two levels.
The other cart, the MC2, is a magna cart with a 90 kg load capacity. It has larger wheels than the MCK and can carry heavier items with more stability.
Here is a comparison of the sizes of these two carts.

Both are approximately 100 cm in height when fully extended. The MCK has two adjustable heights, 100 cm and 85 cm, and the MC2 folds down to 65 cm and 70 cm, respectively. When folded, the MCK is 65 cm and the MC2 is 70 cm, making the MCK more compact for storage.
The MCK has a base size of 39 x 27 cm and a load capacity of 68 kg, while the MC2 has a base size of 48 x 27 cm and a load capacity of 90 kg.

Because of the difference in width, the MC2 is slightly larger when folded.

The size of the wheels are 13 cm for MCK and 18 cm for MC2. Smaller wheels allow for easier maneuvering and larger wheels allow for more stable transport. Both wheels can be stored inside the carry cart.

Both MCK and MC2 are compact, foldable, thin, lightweight, stylish, and easy-to-handle carry carts.
The MC2 in particular has a load capacity of 90 kg, so it can carry heavier loads than the MCK.
If you choose a carry cart by considering what you’re planning to put in the cart, the MC2, which can put on heavier items, is your choice. Also, when considering convenience in transportation, the MCK, which can easily turn in a small radius, is a good option. By thinking about your options, choosing a carry cart by considering which is more important for you when using a carry cart is a shortcut to finding a carry cart that is closer to your ideal.

In this article, we focused on MCK and MC2. Sound House also carries carry carts other than MAGNA CART. As examples, we will briefly introduce two.

Korosuke-kun Deluxe Simple Carry Cart from PLAYTECH (formerly ZENN) is a carry cart that can be folded into a compact size just like the MAGNA CART. It is recommended for those who do not need to carry as many heavy items as the MAGNA CART, but want to carry large items.
