Multitrack recorders (MTR) are used for band recordings and music production. What is an MTR?

MTR stands for multitrack recorder, a device that allows for overdubbing. In the 80’s and 90’s, cassette tapes and Mini Discs were used for recording media, however since the year 2000, media recording devices gradually evolved into built-in hard disks, CD-Rs, and then to SD cards. Currently, data that can be connected to computers have become mainstream.
