Is the layout similar to the DJM-S9? Emphasis on simplicity and ease of use!

Comparing the front panels, it looks very close to the layout of the DJM-S9.
Since the DJM-S11 released in October last year had a touch display in the center of the front panel, the knobs were arranged in vertical rows. Although the DJM-S7 is not equipped with a display, it is equipped with the same FX lever pads as the high-end model and eight performance pads on each deck. Regarding the FX select button next to the FX lever pads, there are 6 types on the higher-end model, but 3 types on each side of the deck (6 types in total) on this model, giving the impression that the functionality is the same.
■Supports Bluetooth connection! Super convenient depending on how you use it!

※ A white frame and Bluetooth® mark are added to the above photo to explain the Bluetooth function.
Something new to the DJM-S7, it is equipped with a function that allows you to input audio signals wirelessly using a Bluetooth function such as a smartphone. This is a completely new function that is not included in higher-end models including the DJM-S11. Specifically, what kind of usage is expected?
Scene 1 Emergency recovery! PC / MAC backup application
For those who have had chilling experiences at a DJ site, such as disconnecting the PC cable when switching to DJ, mysteriously turning off the power of the PC, frozen software, etc. It is recommended that you connect your smartphone for backup purposes just in case. The points are "to align the genre system / BPM" so that you can easily return to your mix, "select a longer song" considering the recovery time, and depending on the site, it is possible that radio waves will not enter, so use "local storage" and download it. If you are prepared, don't worry, and play with confidence!
Scene 2 Music playback use during practice
I've heard that if you want to have a fascinating performance, you should practice once or twice, and that's exactly what I think. It's good to practice according to the sound material you have, but sometimes you may need to match with other songs. You can connect to your smartphone and practice along with the latest songs. Personally, I'm hoping that I can play with the legendary scratch DJs posted on YouTube at session intervals.
Scene 3 Audience unreasonable swing support! Respond to song selection orders by using subscription
I'm really scared of all the DJ killer gals who say "Please give me more aggression, OO!" with a ZIMA in one hand. Enlivening the audience by selecting songs is an important role of DJs, but there is a limit to the data on the PC alone. In such a case, if you have a smartphone with various music subscription contracts, you may be able to select songs more easily, saying "Ah, that song!" I had a chance to see Derrick May play a long set live before, but overseas customers who got heated up in the latter half of the set wrote a memo with the title of the song they want to play and sent it toward the DJ booth. I saw the memo: it said "Strings Of Life" as an anthem, and Derrick May received the song request while nodding. I remember being very impressed. (Well, I feel that Derrick May himself might have been willing to play this song even if it hadn’t been requested...)
The necessary functions are inherited! No complaints about price and features!

In addition to supporting the adjustment of the crossfader curve, it is equipped with two USB terminals (type-B) for PC, allowing smooth DJ conversion. In terms of expandability, it is possible to use a pad expansion controller such as DDJ-XP2 together with it because it is equipped with two USB terminals for CDJ / CONTROLLER on the back! It also supports COMBO PAD mode (when playing in a Serato DJ Pro environment) implemented from DJM-S11, which gives the impression that it is simple but quite functional. Compatible with both Serato DJ Pro and Rekordbox DJ, it's easy to use and reasonably priced. It has become the latest hot DJ mixer! We would like to inform you of further detailed reviews when it goes on sale in early March, so please check them out!
