How to install Speed Star Bearing - Speed Cobra Edition-

This is Hatta. This time, I would like to talk about how to install the popular "Speed Star Bearing" that takes existing pedals (Speed Cobra Edition) to another level.

What is the Speed Star Bearing in the first place?
A Speed Star Bearing is an item that is installed on a bass pedal.

Required tools

・Phillips screwdriver
・Flat-head screwdriver (If you don't have one, you can use a coin instead)
・Allen wrench (included with the pedal)

This time it will be installed on the Speed Cobra, so be sure to purchase the Iron Cobra when purchasing the Speed Star Bearing.
Speed Star Bearings have multiple versions for each manufacturer.
(Although it is intended for the Iron Cobra, it can be installed on the Speed Cobra without any problems)

Let's get started!

How to install

1. First, remove the original bearing.

2. Use the larger wrench that comes with the pedal.

3. You can remove it by turning the bolt counterclockwise.

4. Bearing removed

5. Be careful not to lose this part when removing it (you will need it later)!

6. Finally, it is time to install the Speed Star Bearing.

7. After confirming that the washer in the image next to the speed star bearing is in place

8. Insert it into the hole as shown in the image.

9. In this state, use the previous part.

12. Insert in this orientation

13. While holding it with one finger so that it does not fall, tighten the bolt (clockwise) with a flat-blade screwdriver.

14. And you’re done!
