Today, I would like to introduce the ignition/of/mass-products // from ART.
However, I think that there are few people know about this.

ignition/of/mass-products // is an individual effector builder.
He mainly uses the vintage large box RAT as a reference to create a new distortion effector called ART.

■ Main features of ART
1. He mainly uses carefully selected vintage parts and also modern high-performance parts.

2. The controls include a switch called CHEW in addition to Gain, Tone, and Vol. The CHEW switch eliminates the latency of the sound that occurs when gain is increased, making the sound clear.

3. Regarding the sound, solidness is reduced and a rich vintage sound is added. It brushes up the sound when it is used as a preamplifier.

The impression is that there is no strain, such as the unnatural solidness of the sound and the hard touch when playing, which is often found in effectors that reproduce vintage effectors.

There are effectors with which the recorded sound is close to the original, but in my experience, there are many differences in comfort when playing, and in the first place, the sound from the amplifier is different when compared in the same environment.
But this effector doesn't have these differences!

My impressions are
1. Range is excellent when used as a preamplifier.
For those who use RAT with high gain, I would recommend you to try this as a preamplifier with low gain.
2. The CHEW switch reveals its true character and is refreshing, especially when gain is high.
As the sound becomes clear, you will be able to even hear chords clearly. In other words, sound separation is good when playing tense chords.
3. Almost the same level as vintage RAT.
You don't need to buy expensive vintage items. It is also overwhelmingly high quality and reliable.

There are many world class Japanese individual builders.
I think individual builders are more stoic in sound, and the effectors which musical instrument stores do not handle are really amazing.
That doesn't mean that products by the well-known manufacturer are bad.
Both are amazing, but they are just different in a good way.
