Recommended A Cappella Bands - Amateur Mixed Chorus Band Edition -

This time around, I would like to introduce some amateur a cappella bands that I personally recommend!
I’m featuring some amazing mixed chorus bands for the July edition of my blog!

PLUS Unison

This is a channel specialized in a cappella run by an a cappella music producer Ryota and an a cappella arranger ma-viro!
I especially would like to recommend a cover song of “Laughter” by Official HIGE DANdism! There is no doubt that you will be surprised how the vocalist Ruka’s voice suits the Official HIGE DANdism music too much! The point you shouldn’t miss is the last chorus where it livens up! You’ll be like “this person sings this part!?”, so please listen to it to the end♪

Rakuyo

Yuri, a female lead vocalist, sings extremely well. Rakuyo is a band I personally recommend! They’re the top band that won the 20th National Hamonep League and the Best of JAM Award at the JAM2014! Pay attention to the well-balanced chorus harmony and bass percussion♪ “Rainy Blue” and “be alive” are also my favorites that I would like you to listen to!

A popular band that has performed on many big stages such as the Best of JAM Award at the JAM2019, the headliner of the KAJa!2019 & 2020, and the finalist of the Aca-Spi 2019! With the motto “a stage that colors your heart”, they sing exciting and happy songs! It will make you feel like you’re watching a show at a theme park♪ My recommendation is “Hello, New York / Brand New Day”! It makes you want to dance!

The band name is written as ～～～☀～～～ and called “oh-unabara” that means “ocean”! At first glance, they may look like it’s a Yaro-Ban, but the percussion part is sung by a girl! They are a 7-piece band that has been a finalist of the Aca-Spi 2020! You’ll be amazed when you listen to their cool “Acappella Town Funk” and “Natsu Matsuri” for sure! Listen carefully to the bass percussion section!

Tamura Maro

They’re the winner of the National Hamonep League 2019! The band has attracted a lot of attention since they appeared on this TV show, and has made many appearances including the guest performance at the JAM and popular a cappella events. All members wear white and glasses, which creates their mysterious aura. I recommend “Circle Of Life” from The Lion King! It feels good to hear the changes in tempo and the overlapping Ji-Hamo!! “Shima Uta”, “Pakkanen”, and the theme song of Astro Boy are also amazing, so please listen to them♪

This time, I carefully selected and introduced 5 bands that I personally recommend!
There are many more wonderful a cappella bands that I couldn’t feature in this article, so please try to venture out to find a new favorite band yourself♪
