2021-05-31

Theme:Drums & Percussion

Hello. The rainy season began early this year, and it’s already humid even though it's still May.
Well, this time I would like to show you how to maintain your cymbals during this difficult season.
The cymbals get dirty from the oil on the hands as it’s being used... and patina... (sad)
Cymbals got damaged by humidity while not being able to be played live due to the Covid-19 pandemic... (sad)
Now that you have to stay home, let's clean the dirt off and revive them into shiny cymbals!

[What to Prepare]

2.Soft Cloth for Polishing

MUSIC NOMAD / MN210 DRUM TOWEL

This set of drum towels will be even more effective when used in combination with the MUSIC NOMAD “MN110 DRUM DETAILER” and “MN111 CYMBAL CLEANER”!

■ Microfiber towel
■ 2 pieces
■ Size: Approximately 30 cm x 40 cm

[Procedure]

① Apply cleaner to the cloth and polish the cymbal.
Polish from the cup toward the edges (from the center to the outside of the cymbal).
Rub over and into the grooves making a circle on the cymbal.
Note: If you apply too much cleaner, it will cause the finish to spread unevenly!
Polish the cymbal little by little. Don’t forget to polish the other side after wiping down the top side!

② Change the cloth to a clean one and wipe dry.
Polish the cymbal carefully not to leave the cleaner on it.

That’s all!
The important thing about polishing cymbals is to polish them with a light hand and not too hard.

*Don’t overdo the polishing! The logo may disappear, so do it carefully and infrequently!
Polishing cymbals is easier than you think. Maintain your cymbals well so it will last for a long time.
