Developed with legendary producer/engineer Eddie Kramer, HLS Channel is meticulously modeled on the same Helios mixing console used in historic sessions at London's famous Olympic Studio (we actually got the Helios from the Rolling Stones' mobile truck, which was used on numerous classic recordings throughout the '70s). Furthermore, when modeling the Helios EQ, we not only modeled its sweet saturation, high-frequency presence, and fat low-frequency boost, but also its unique behavior, color, and console preamp drive. Finally, the HLS Channel also features precisely modeled VU meters, recreating the sensitivity, behavior, look and feel of the original.
