Waves Codex is a state-of-the-art polyphonic synthesizer based on a granular synthesis engine. As a wavetable synthesizer that uses Waves' virtual voltage technology and can be operated with the same feel as an actual hardware synthesizer equipped with VCF, VCA, etc., it is possible to express completely new and unprecedentedly complex tones, from warm acoustic sounds to analog synth emulations. Codex offers endless sonic possibilities. The Codex synth comes with over 100 sound presets, but you can import your own audio material, use it as a wavetable, and edit it to your liking. It also includes the latest formant adjustment functionality, allowing direct resonance control without losing the resonance character of the original signal. Codex uses high-resolution FFT auto-completion technology, so morphing is very smooth when sweeping the wavetable. The analog subtractive synthesizer configuration is laid out in an intuitive layout, making it easy to customize existing presets or create completely original patches. Thanks to the easy-to-understand GUI that displays everything on one screen, you can instantly access all parameters and always know the entire patch, so you can concentrate on creating your sound without the need for complicated operations. Waves Codex is a wavetable synthesizer that is a soft synthesizer, but has the same ""thickness"" and ""intuitive operability"" as an analog synthesizer.
