Throughout the era of analog records, the original Fairchild 670 compressor was a very popular processor. With almost all of its components made up of vacuum tubes, the Fairchild, which was the culmination of compression technology at the time, was renowned for its unparalleled sound, from recording studios to record strumming studios.
