Pink Floyd and Nirvana. And Radiohead and Ed Sheeran.
The EMI TG12410 Transfer Console, which has supported all mastering at Abbey Road Studios since the 1970s, has been recreated in modeling as a modular mastering chain plug-in.
The Abbey Road TG Mastering Chain plug-in allows the creation of custom processing chains for flexible workflows, bringing the "magic of TG" to the master bus. Of course, it can also be used on any individual or group track in a mix.
Built-in its signature solid-state/transistor configuration, the TG12410 has proven itself over the decades. As a complete console for mastering and mixing only selected modules, what the TG brings can be called 'magic. The magic is evident in Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon," Nirvana's "In Utero," Radiohead's "Kid A," "OK Computer," and even Ed Sheeran's "+. The result of the Waves/Abbey Road collaboration, TG12410, brings the magic that never existed in Abbey Road Studios to your productions.

Powerful modules available individually
Except for the Input and Output modules, each module can be reordered and turned on and off individually to create flexible processing flows and custom chains. Modules can be used not only for mastering sessions and master buses but also for individual tracks or group buses in a mix.
The compressor/limiter module is available in Original and Modern flavors. It also has a 48 dB/Oct linear phase filter for side-chaining, giving you solid sonic control.
Original: Aggressive and modeled after the "dirty" sounds of the 70s. Modern: Based on the actual TG topology, Waves and Abbey Road collaborated to design this model. It offers a more refined sound and higher audible sound pressure levels. The TG Mastering Chain also includes the Meter Bridge component as a separate plug-in, offering a new approach to meter usage.
With a single launch of Meter Bridge, a drop-down menu provides access to the meters for all currently active instances of the Abbey Road TG Mastering Chain, allowing you to check VU, PPM, Phase, Peak quickly, and a wealth of other lead-outs while you focus on your production. VU, PPM, Phase, Peak, and a wealth of lead-outs can be quickly checked while you focus on your show.
With multiple processing modes (Stereo/Duo/MS), monitoring modes (Stereo/Mono/L/R/M/S), and a dedicated live component, the Abbey Road TG Mastering Chain is a powerful studio or live use tool. The Abbey Road TG Mastering Chain is a powerful tool for studio and live applications.
