The J37 Tape Saturation plug-in results from a collaboration between Waves and Abbey Road Studios. Accurately modeling the very machines used to record the great masterpieces of modern music and adding user-configurable parameters such as Tape Speed, Bias, Noise, Saturation, Wow, and Flutter, Waves' Abbey Road J37 The plug-in faithfully reproduces the irreplaceable sonic character of the original machine.

Settings for Tape Delay, Sync, Low Pass, High Pass filters, and more, including three different delay types
In addition to modeling the J37 itself, there is the added ability to select three different types of magnetic material contained in the tape; these special tapes, specially developed by EMI in the 60s and 70s, have unique frequency response and harmonic distortion characteristics. To further enhance its functionality as a tape simulation plug-in, a Tape Delay function has also been added to take advantage of the warm sound of these machines.
