以前から気になっていたベイヤー

ベイヤーダイナミックは以前から気になってはいたが、なかなか購入には至らなかった。
SONY MDR-CD900STはエッジがキツくて低音がぼやけていたので、
しばらくはモニタースピーカーとモニターイヤホンのSONY MDR-EX800STとSHURE AONIC4でミキシングとマスタリングをしていた。
MDR-EX800STは低音の輪郭がハッキリとしてバランスも申し分なかったし、SHURE AONIC4ではリスニング環境の確認用として使用。
やっぱりモニターイヤホンだけでは心許ないので、今回beyerdynamic DT770PRO 80Ωを購入。
ネットで色々レビューを見ていると「低音が強すぎる」「低音が出なくて高音がキツい」など様々。
でも、ベイヤーダイナミックは創業100年の老舗メーカーであり、世界中でユーザーが多いということも魅力的だった。
もちろんaudio technica ATH-M50xやSONY MDR-M1STも検討していたのだけど、
サウンドハウスさんでbeyerdynamic DT770PRO 80Ω Black Editionがセールで安かったのが購入のきっかけに。
通常モデルよりBlack Editionの方が格好いいし。
ファーストインプレッションとしては高音強くて低音があまり鳴ってない？と思ったけれど、
エイジングしてみると、バランスが良くなってどの帯域も過不足なくフラットに近い鳴りをするようになり、ミキシングもしやすくなった。
あと、これはみんな言ってることだけどイヤーパッドが分厚く柔らかくて長時間の装着も苦にならない。
ワンルームマンションなので夜はスピーカーで大きい音が出せないので、通常のリスニングにもDT770PROは心地よくリスニングすることが出来る。
本機を購入して満足度が高く、末長く使えたらいいなと思う。

900STから乗り換え

仕事で
・ミラーレスにも挿せる抵抗/ジャックであること
・外で使うことも多いので密閉型であること
・CD900STよりしっかりローエンドが見渡せること
・だからといってローが強すぎないこと
という条件で探してMDR-7506と迷って最終的にBeyerdynamic DT770Proにしました。
CD900STも悪いヘッドフォンではないけれども、やはりローエンドの処理をきっちり行おうとすると
ローが全然聞こえないので困る事が多かった。
スピーカーで鳴らせばいいだけなのだけれども、今いる賃貸が鉄骨のため気が引けるので
ずっとヘッドフォンで作業をしています。
中域?高域の鳴り方はやはり密閉型特有の詰まった感じ、前に若干張り付く感じはありますが、
それでも他のメーカーの密閉型よりは多少マシかなと。
低域は密閉型にありがちな嫌味のある感じではなく自然に抜けていく感じが良いです。
だからといってローが弱いわけでもなく、ちゃんとバスドラムのサスティンや
ベースのエンベロープのテールが聞こえるので買ってよかったです。
