At the heart of the system is an acoustic design shaped by decades of innovation and proven performance. Capable of handling extremely high sound pressure levels, the 8340A features a reflex port design for enhanced bass, MDE (Minimum Diffraction Enclosure) for uncolored sound reproduction, and DCW? (Directivity Control Waveguide) for flat on-axis/off-axis response. All of these features are linked to SAM's versatility. The GLM (Genelec Loudspeaker Manager) software allows for fine-tuning of every monitor setting, and AutoCal compensates for room acoustics, enabling perfect calibration of the setup to suit any listening environment, from simple stereo to large-scale immersive audio.

As a result, it's a state-of-the-art monitoring solution ideal for a wide range of applications, including recording studios, post-production houses, digital editing suites, radio, television, and mobile broadcasting stations.
