This model combines Darkglass Electronics' standard preamp ""B7K Ultra"" and ""Vintage Deluxe"". It is newly equipped with an Aux input that allows you to input an external sound source. In addition to a 4-band EQ, it is equipped with a switch that allows you to change the frequency of LO MIDS and HI MIDS, and a boost and cut switch for Grunt (low frequency) and ATTACK (high frequency). It is one of the best bass preamps.

”Vintage”という名の”Darkglass”！

ALPHA・OMEGAと比較しての試奏を行い、そのうえでこちらを購入しました。
Vintageと書いてますが、決してローゲインということではありません。
クリーン・ドライブともにダークグラスらしいサウンドですが、この機種はその過激なサウンドのまま若干ウォームにした印象があります。
【EQについて】
ミッドが２ツマミに分かれていますが、ブースト／カットする帯域を３つのなかから選べるので、音作りの幅は広いです。
思い切り回しても不自然な音にはならず、音作りはとてもしやすいと感じました。
【DRIVEについて】
よくポップス～ハードロックと表記されがちですが、他機種と同様にエクストリームな音楽に使えるハイゲインな歪みです。
上記のとおり若干ウォームなサウンドではあるものの、AttackスイッチやGruntスイッチを上手く組み合わせればALPHA・OMEGAやB7Kで作れるような過激なサウンドは十分に作れます。
二台買うほどではないけど明確に差がある…という絶妙な差別化がなされていて、本当に長時間悩みました（笑）
全部で３機種あるUltraシリーズ。
個人的にはこのVintageはパッシブベースと相性がよさそうな気がしてますが、好みで選んでしまっても大丈夫ってぐらい３機種とも洗練されたサウンドです！ぜひ思いっきり悩んでみてください！
