■A.R.E. [Acoustic Resonance Enhancement] is a wood modification technology independently researched and developed by Yamaha. Applying this technology to the guitar's body wood creates a rich, mellow tone that sounds like it's been played for years. By precisely controlling temperature, humidity, and air pressure without the use of any chemicals, we can rapidly achieve changes similar to those experienced over time in wood after it has been sawn. This improves sound transmission and vibration efficiency, promotes the extension of mid- and low-frequency components, and accelerates the attack and decay of high-frequency components. This results in a well-balanced, mature, warm sound with fewer harsh overtones.
■ The non-scalloped X-bracing structure used in the ""L Series"" has been further refined using the latest analytical and modeling technology and expert craftsmanship. It maximizes the natural resonance of the wood, delivering a deeper, richer mid- and low-range tone.
■ Detail improvements have been made to string spacing, string height, fingerboard binding, neck taper, and more. A new neck shape has been created to better fit guitarists. The newly designed neck provides a stable grip and smooth playability from high to low positions. ■All models feature a double-action truss rod that applies force in both forward and backward bow directions, allowing for more precise neck adjustments.
■Equipped with a newly developed passive pickup. A piezo element is installed for each string below the saddle. This passive pickup does not require a power source on the guitar body, and there is no preamp or battery box attached to the guitar itself, faithfully reproducing the dynamic sound of the L Series while maintaining the appearance of an acoustic guitar. The pickup's impact on the natural sound is minimized, providing a distinctive presence even when playing with a band.
