The SS3 is a PA speaker that features a solid grill. It is equipped with a 3D stereo sound and outputs sound in the range of up to 300 degree sound field!!

The side speaker produces a wide sound. The SS3 alone works as both a PA speaker in live acoustic concerts and as a monitor speaker!

Also, I tried to sing while playing guitar in a 7m x 7m squared space, but there was still plenty of room for the sound to spread. With this one, I think I can start a venue for open mics right away. Lol.

These pictures show the side speaker viewed from both sides! It looks cool and sleek from either side. The angular design and metallic coloring are so attractive, aren’t they!?

This time, I connected the microphone and guitar to the mixer, and connected the main outputs L and R to the inputs L and R on the SS3. Since the L and R outputs are situated in a way to create a stereo sound, however, you cannot enjoy a full stereo 3D sound unless you adjust the speaker to fill in the sound texture horizontally to create a full panoramic effect. So, I turned the knobs for L/R outputs out of the center and input to the SS3. The sound volume of the side speaker can be controlled with the WIDTH knob under CPS CONTROL. The sound starts to spread right after the knob passes 12 o’clock, and even if you are behind the speaker, you can hear the sound as if you were in front of the speaker!!

When I used the SS3 for singing while playing guitar, I felt that the treble was clear and the sound spread neatly. I usually perform live on the street with a raw sound, so it's such a wonderful sound that I want to bring this baby out to my performance immediately. There is so much warmth and thickness in the low range, and my voice tends to be middle and high, but it also reproduces the low range well!

The width control allows you to optimize the stereo effects depending on where you use it! You can use the effect according to the situation, like widening the depth in places where the sound is dead or try outdoors and narrow the depth in places that have a resonance! Even if you apply reverb or echo, the sound output is keeping the characteristics of the voice, so I secretly thought it would be okay to make up a singing voice with a lot of effects. Lol.

I definitely recommend the Spacestation V.3 as a simple PA system because it does not require multiple speakers and it is so easy to connect! Of course, even in a full-scale live performance, with the SS3, you won’t even need the monitor anymore and you'll get more space at your feet, so why don’t you try it out?
