[New product review] ATH-M50x limited color Violet x Matt Black released

ATH-M50x headphones from audio technica, a popular choice at Sound House, are now available in a limited edition color scheme.

Up until recently, stylish and sophisticated limited edition color schemes like blue-and-brown and green-and-brown have completely wiped out the common image of “black” studio headphones.

I've never seen violet headphones before. But speaking of purple, it’s the Sound House corporate color! This feels like an edge for us. Anyway, I’m not saying it's like Eva.

But that's why I’ve chosen to introduce the ATH-M50x PB this time. This limited edition color scheme is available with the wireless headphones ATH-M50xBT, so you can go either way -- wired or wireless.

The package also screams violet. The accessories are the same as those that come with the ATH-M50x and ATH-M50xBT.

The ATH-M50xPB comes with three types of cables, a conversion adapter and a pouch.

The ATH-M50xBT PB comes with a cable optional wired connection, a USB cable and a pouch.

Side-by-side with the ATH-M50x, it looks like this. Looking at them, they look better than I had expected, or maybe it’s the deep color.

And here's what they look like when they’re being worn. Definitely unique compared to black, but I can’t say they aren’t appealing.

When I compared the sound quality of the ATH-M50xPB and ATH-M50xBT PB, I couldn’t really hear a big difference!

I felt that the ATH-M50x had better low-frequency depth and clearer highs ...but overall, about the same.

A flat sound with high-resolution that is very much like studio headphones, but from wireless. The sound quality is amazing.
