The "ATH-CKS5TW" released by Audio-Technica was an ambitious product with the latest Qualcomm chip technology, long-time operation and low latency, and the price was within 15,000 yen.
The battery capacity and connection stability had been greatly improved. Entry level model but with the sound that has crisp low end and detailed high end that is above this price level. The ATH-CKS5TW has enhanced low end and is good for movies and gaming. The ATH-CK3TW is good for music lovers and those is recording. For those who don’t really know the SOLID BASS series, the ATH-CK3TW is the better choice.

6 hours which is the same as the WF-1000CM3. The elimination of noise canceling capabilities achieved a longer battery life for any application.

400msec latency. This should be enough and they are comfortable for movie and gaming sounds even compared to the WF-1000XM3. For music synchronized games, latency caused by Bluetooth can be compensated with other tools

No control button. Tapping once the right earphone controls play/stop/answer. Tapping twice will forward to the next song. Tapping three times will reverse.
Tapping once on the left earphone will increase volume. Tapping twice will decrease volume.

◯ Pairing

If a previously paired device is not available, pairing will start when the earphones are removed from the case. To force pairing, delete the earphones from the smartphone Bluetooth device list and then remove the earphones from the case.

◯ Applicable CODEC

SBC, apt-X. It is easy to find out the codec, as the Audio-Technica application for smartphones shows the codec.

Just like classical CKM series, the sound has a crisp low end and detailed high end.
The functions are the same as upper level model. Touch sensor/wearing sensor (removing the earphones stops playback; putting the earphones on starts playback).
Since the ATH-CK3TW was developed to compete with the SONY WF-1000XM3, it includes many unique functions like 6 hours battery capacity and good performance.
The ATH-CK3TW battery capacity is 6 hours to reduce the size, and not meant to achieve the 15 hours available with the ATH-CKS5TW, which is almost same as large wireless headphones.
A few reviews have mentioned that the disadvantage of the SONY WF-1000XM3 could be the large size. The ATH-CK3TW has not only good performances but also reflects the customers’ voices regarding the size.
If you’re looking for true wireless earphones that fit in the pocket of your jeans, the ATH-CK3TW is the only choice. Lower priced true wireless earphones have been introduced by many manufacturers from abroad. Their cheap quality and low performance products have already spread into the market. If customers purchase these entry level models, the reputation itself of true wireless earphones could be damaged.
