幼少期から歌うことが大好きで、気づけば音楽を口ずさんでいます。ブラックミュージックのルーツに惹かれ、大学では米文学を専攻しました。グルーヴ感のある曲とフェイクに目がなく、ダニー・ハサウェイからディアンジェロまで、太ーいソウルボイスが大好物。ピアノ・サックス・ベースを演奏し、大学時代はハードロックバンドでボーカルを担当していました。犬猫とスイーツが癒しです^^
