TONEX One is a mini-pedal with Tone Model by AI Machine Modeling, allowing you to build the power of TONEX into any size pedalboard and easily combine it with your favourite effects pedals.

The onboard gain/volume and 3-band EQ allow you to make instant adjustments to the presets, while effects such as noise gate, compression and stereo reverb help you get the right sound for any live venue. Changes made on the unit are saved without the need to connect to a computer, so you can control it at rehearsals and live shows.

Access to unlimited tones.
The TONEX One comes with a licence for the TONEX SE software, which gives you instant access to 200 premium Tone Models, and access to ToneNET, where you can download over 25,000 user Tone Models. The collection of genuine IK Multimedia and Tone Partners from around the world is also available (sold separately) and can be extended with Tone Models for a wide variety of rare, vintage and modern amplifiers and pedals.

Capture your own gear too!
The included TONEX SE software has a ‘Player’ function that allows you to play the same Tone Models as the TONEX One in standalone and DAW plug-ins, a ‘Librarian’ function that manages Tonex One presets, and a ‘Modeler’ function that allows you to capture your own Tone Models. The ‘Modeler’ function is also implemented. Capture your favourite amps, cabinets, stomps, etc. and save them as Tone Models, allowing you to play with your own unique tone without having to bring the actual device to the live performance venue.

Audio interface functionality.
The TONEX One can also be used as a compact USB-C audio interface.
The TONEX One can also be used as a compact USB-C audio interface, allowing you to record your guitar or bass on your Mac or Windows computer while switching between presets on the TONEX One with low-latency monitoring. The TRS/stereo output can be used with either headphones or active speakers.

Two footswitch modes.
The TONEX One has two modes: Dual mode, which switches between Preset A and Preset B each time the footswitch is pressed, and Stomp mode, which switches between ON and BYPASS, a mode familiar to effect pedals. Set it to Dual mode to switch between two different amp channels, one for backing and one for soloing. Or you can easily switch to Stomp mode and use it as an overdrive pedal.
Of course, it is also recommended to prepare several TONEX One units in different modes and use them as dedicated amp or effects pedals.

Connects to any rig.
The TONEX One is designed to fit on any pedalboard. The ultra-compact design makes it easy to connect two TONEX One units in parallel to create a ‘killer stereo rig’ or connect them in series to create ‘tone stacking’ and boost lead tones or rhythm tones. It is also easy to boost lead or rhythm tones by connecting them in series.
Furthermore, the TONEX One's CAB (cabinet) can be operated independently of the AMP (amplifier), so you can bypass the TONEX One's CAB model when connecting it to an actual amplifier cabinet,
The CAB model can be bypassed when connecting to a PA system or FRFR (Full Range Flat Response) cabinet, and the CAB model can be activated when connecting to an actual amplifier cabinet.
The cabinet section can be replaced with a Tone Model, IK Multimedia's own VIR™ (IK's Volumetric Impulse Response technology, which combines multiple IRs to faithfully reproduce a cabinet) or loaded with custom IRs. The Multimedia system is a combination of software, hardware and netspace.

TONEX One works with TONEX software (Mac/Windows, iPhone, iPad) and the user community Tone NET.
The Tone NET is a daily platform for contributions from TONEX users all over the world (25,000 users as of April 2024), and is a member of the infinitely expandable TONEX Ecosystem.
