Our goal was to create a compact and powerful three-channel high-gain amplifier pedal that delivers the response and feel of a real guitar amplifier.

The Dept.10 AMPED 3 is a unique power amplifier design with current feedback that mimics the interaction between a tube amplifier and a speaker cabinet.
This high headroom design delivers 100 watts of power into an 8 or 16 ohm speaker cabinet, providing the power and presence of a tube amplifier.

レコーディングだけでも良い

このスペックだとどう考えてもライブ仕様かと思い使用してみましたが、
アンプに正面から直だとデフォルトでオーバードライブが歪みすぎてて制御が大変、、
あとなんでかブーストがいまいち効かない印象？そこが欲しかったのに。。
ステージだとクリーン部門以外はあまり使えないといった印象だったのです。
売り飛ばそうかと思ってたとこ、バランスアウトあるしでラインだけで録音したらなかなかの出来でござんした。
音にコシがあるというか、コレはとりあえず持っておいても損はしないと思う。

AMPEDシリーズの全種類を試してみての感想です。

AMPED1は
リバーブ以外は付いていないので自分で気に入ったエフェクターを揃えることが前提の

主にエフェクターで音作りをする方に向けた仕様

それに伴い歪みも弱めのため
使いたいエフェクターがハッキリしている人に向いた品です。

AMPED2は
Booster・MOD・Delay・Reverbが付いているので、
これ1台で全てを終了したい方に向けた仕様。

それぞれのツマミが数値化されていて、ディスプレイで確認出来るので数量を記録しておけば音の迷い子にならないで済みそうに思いました。

ただし、音的には、
どれを取っても中途半端に感じてしまいがちで、

肝心な歪みに関しては
そこそこ歪むけれど限界まで歪ませると音の粒立ちが悪くなる(少しボヤッとする)印象があり、

ある程度使うと物足りなくなる予感がしました。

AMPED3は
リバーブ以外は付いていないのでBooster・MOD・Delayなどは自分で気に入ったエフェクターを揃えることが前提。

Clean・Crunch・ODの3段階の歪みがあって
それぞれに２種類のキャラクターがあり、
Clean・Crunch・ODに各プリセットを記憶できて便利。

歪みに関しては
充分に歪んで、
限界まで歪ませても粒立ちの良い音で、
味変程度にBoosterを効かせれば、歪みはそれだけで充分。
歪みエフェクターの沼にハマっている人も目を覚ませそうな逸品です。

もう少し試行錯誤をして、
どれを残すかを検討中ですが、

おそらくAMPED3が残りそうな予感です。

新時代だ！

リハスタや小屋の「マーシャルあるある（壊れてる/ヘタってる/個体差）」に長年悩まされましたが、これで一気に解消です。ボードにチューブライクなハイゲイン100Wが載るだなんて！音量もJVM-100W程度有り十分です。何より一気通貫な適応性が凄い。「自宅：ヘッドフォン→リハスタ：1960直結→小屋：1960直結+IRキャノン卓送」がほぼ同じ音で出せます。ストレスフリーです。4ケーブルメソッド愛用の方にも福音、ボード内で全て完結します。マルチでいい音してんだけど、出口がJCリターン刺しじゃあなぁ、という方にもお薦めします。プリ部の歪み具合はやはりブラックスター的ではありますが、ISPコントロールと出力管選択で、守備範囲はかなり広いです。歪み具合も十分で、外部ODプッシュの効果も自然です。リハスタや小屋に重いAMPヘッドを持ち込んでいた苦労が嘘のようです。

現行で最強じゃないか

飛行機でツアーへ行くにも、エフェクターボードに組み込んでコンパクトに持ち運べ、音質も申し分無し。
4ケーブルメソッドもボード内で完結出来て、IRも優秀なので自宅でもかなりライブを想定した音作りができます。
チャンネル3のボリューム感が少し埋もれる感じが有りましたが、FX LOOPにクリーンブースターかますと、音圧も上がるのでおすすめです。

よく歪んで使いやすい音

音は良い部類に入るかと思います、キャビネットによっては初期のプリセットだとハイゲイン系は歪が足りないかもしれません、かなりキャビネットで変わります。
MIDI制御もついているのでキャビの上に置いてもよし、長いスピーカーケーブルを用意して
ボードに組んでもよし、かなり自由度は高いかと思います。
真空管を選択でき、キャラクターの違いが割と実機に似てて音作りの幅もかなり広いです。
ブースターもついており、POSTのトグルを動かすとプリアンプの前に置くか後ろに置くか選択できるようです（正確には本当かわからない）　ただ既存のブースタだとイマイチ歪が足りないので別途ブースターを用意するとさらに良いかと思います。
ちなみに音のキャラはモダンなマーシャル系って感じが個人的にはします、ただしっかりローも出るので
実際パソコンのソフトでプリセットを設定することによりかなり細かな設定ができるみたいなので
一概にこれとは言い切れないです。
100wのパワーアンプが載っていますので実機にも負けない出力です。
よほどのことがない限りライブで使うとして事足りるかと思います。
