The BEHRINGER BDI21 is a preamp/direct box that delivers a wide range of sounds, from vintage tube tones to funky slap sounds and crunchy distortion, thanks to its authentic V-TONE modeling technology.

The all-new BOOST switch, which is based on the YYZ pedal and can produce a 12dB presence boost, allows you to increase the top-end distortion. In addition, you can add 6dB of Schmegilka to the top by turning on the SHAPE SHIFTER button.

-All-analog SansAmp technology
In live performances, it can drive a power amp and speaker to reinforce an existing amp setup, or connect directly to the mixer of a PA system.

-Mix control
Adjusts the ratio of high-end clean (Deep) and rough tube amp tone (Drive).

-TIGHT switch
Clean adds sharpness to the sound, and distortion can be finished to a sharper sound.

-BOOST/SHAPE SHIFTER
The BOOST switch increases the top-end distortion by 12dB. The SHAPE SHIFTER switch allows you to add 6dB of Schmegilka to the top.

・Drive
Adjusts the amount of overall gain and overdrive, like pushing the output of a tube amp.

・Power
Uses a standard 9V alkaline battery 006P (sold separately).
Note: The power supply is active when a plug is inserted into In. To prevent battery drain, unplug when not in use.
