＜What is a high excursion driver?＞
・Hi-Xcursion is the technology that is the key to the amazing sound of Hi-X headphones. All Austrian Audio Hi-X headphone products are equipped with 44mm drivers and a ring magnet system. This design improves airflow and creates the strongest magnetic field in its class. The ring magnet, combined with the copper-clad aluminum voice coil, reduces the weight of the diaphragm and the voice coil attached to it, improves the speed of diaphragm movement and reorientation, and provides a more responsive impulse response characteristic. After various measurements and listening tests at Austrian Audio, 44mm was found to be the optimal size for this design. This not only provides the performance that professionals demand, but also allows the diaphragm to vibrate a lot of air without causing any ""wobble"". In addition, the diaphragm design is ultra-rigid and suppresses unnecessary resonance, contributing to the vibration suppression of the entire driver.

長時間、快適に良い音を聴き続けられるバランスよい製品です

他社製品と併用していても、ついHi-X15を手に取ってしまう原因として「長時間連続して作業に没頭した後でも耳や頭への負担が軽い」ことが大きく影響していると感じています。私は起きている間メガネを外すことはないのですが、Hi-X15は終日かけたままでも快適かつ自然に音と向き合い続けることができるため、大変助かります。
音質の面においても、アンビエントや生楽器の音を取り扱うことの多い私の耳にとって、広い範囲において「素直」な発音が感じられる仕上がりです。引き続き様々なソースを快適に楽しみ、長くお付き合いを続けていきたいといます。素晴らしい出会いに改めて感謝いたします！

austrian audioはいけるかも

エージング用のiPadでビックリ！／新素材の進化？
ワインのソムリエのような耳は必要ありません／自分は並み耳です
最初（エージング前）、はキレイでハッキリした音
エージング後（AKGは、少なくとも５時間ぐらいでf特のアバレは少なくなる／実験記事あり）は
iPad/foobar2000,FLACで、ズシンドカンシャリンな音
こんな音が出ていたんだ！
モニター（率直な音／いかに化粧を取るか）は
K240,K240MK2,K245です
オーディオ（いい音／いかに化粧するか、ステージの化粧は重要）は
LUXMAN+JBLかK701を大馬力で駆動
それが、iPadで聞けた
多分、新素材で軽量、高い硬性の駆動部が効いている／Hi-X
音がクッキリ、ハッキリ
奥行き、広がり、分離が良くて
ボーカルは耳元で、楽器は位置や響きがわかる
一瞬、耳が良くなった？な錯覚
しかし、この価格では、部品（特にイヤパッド）は安物
Hi-X１５のイヤパッドが欲しくなりました

2万円前後の価格帯でかなり高音質・高コスパです

他所の店頭で購入したことをおことわりしておきます。ホームユースでまずまずの音質の密閉型ヘッドホンが欲しかったこと、Austrian Audioの音に興味があったことから、手が届く価格のHi-X15を購入しました。ひとことで言えば、コスパがかなり高いと思います。
パッドの形状は横径がせまく縦長ですが、自分の耳にはフィットします。側圧はほどよく、装着感は気に入っています。
音量バランスとしては、上から下まで全体的に出る印象です。高音域・中音域がきれいで、低音域は密閉型にしては強すぎずタイトに感じます。人によっては高音域・中音域の強さが気になる、という意見もあるようです（https://www.headphonecheck.com/test/austrian-audio-hi-x15/）。個人的には、確かに音源によってはサ行が気になることもありますが、減点対象になるほどではありませんでした。
この価格帯では開放型（K702など）ヘッドホンを聴いたことがありますが、比較すると解像感、楽器の分離感、定位感ではHi-X15の方がすぐれていると感じました。もちろん開放型のような広々としたリラックスした鳴り方ではありませんが、モニタリングに適しており、リスニングに使用しても快適です。
まだこの価格帯のヘッドホンを所有していなければ、試聴リストに入れたほうがよい良品だと思います。

AKGk371とYamahaHPH-Mt8の中間

AKGk371が壊れ、修理中にこちらを購入してみました。
音はAKGk371とYamahaHPH-Mt8の中間という感じで
ライブレコーディング作品のフロアや空間も見えやすいく、
ヘッドホンボリュームを下げられるので良さそうです。
耳当て部分も深いので、セルフレームメガネをかけていても低域漏れがしません。
耐久性がどこまであるか不安ですが、
都内のヨドバシカメラだけでも15店舗で買えるので、故障しても安心ですね。

これは超お買い得

仕事柄旧AKGやBeyerdynamicなどのモニターヘッドフォンをつかい続けていましたがこの価格でこんなに音の分離が良く　また、空間の広がりを掴みやすいモノは初めてです。
特筆すべきはエコー・リバーブの効き具合がキッチリ把握できることでしょう
メーカーでの位置付けはエントリーも出るとの事ですが、普通に業務で使うには十分すぎる性能です。
旧AKGのコアスタッフの意地を見た様な気がします。
......ということで上級モデルをお持ちの方も買う価値はあります。
