The Blue 360 AIAB is an amp-in-a-box (AIAB) pedal that reproduces the sound produced by the Acoustic 360 bass preamp unit and 361 cabinet set, which were highly valued in the early 70s as an amplifier capable of competing with loud distorted guitars. It produces a slightly distorted tone without compromising the dynamic range, beloved by John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and Jaco Pastorius.

豊かな低域と僅かな歪みが、なかなか良い

　最初モードスイッチが「-18dBモード」になっていることを知らず、出力が低く初期不良かと思いましたが、スイッチを通常モードにしてOKでした。
　
　音質は、低域がズンと響き、僅かに歪む感じがなかなか良いです。ただ、EQの効きが他のペダルに比べると弱いと感じます。
　
　VOLUMEつまみは、位置により僅かに歪み量が変化します。上げると歪み量も僅かですが上がります。ただ、歪みペダルではありませんので変化量も僅かです。
　
　BASSつまみは、12時の位置で十分な低域が出るのであまり上げる必要はありませんが、最大にしても破綻はしません。尚、9時以下にすると、さすがに低域はほとんどなくなります。
　
　MIDつまみは、効きが弱いので、MIDを調節しての音作りの幅はそれほど広くはないと思います。
　
　TREBLEつまみは、最小に下げても普通に高域が出て、12時の位置にするとかなり高域が強くなりノイズも目立つようになります。最小の位置近くで十分使えそうです。
　
　このペダルは音質調整の幅は狭いですが、この音質が好みの場合は問題はないでしょう。
　また、このペダルをペダルボードの最終段に置き、基本的な音質はこのペダルで設定し、前段に他のEQや歪みペダルを置いて音質の幅を広げる方法もありだと思います。
　
※補足
　私はペダル収集が趣味なので多数のペダルを所有していますが、本ペダルにも興味があり購入しました。
　
　所有しているペダルでは、VT Bass DIとTri-logic3で本ペダルと似たような音質を作れることを確認しました。
　音質面からすると、VT Bass DIまたはTri-logic3を既にお持ちで、ペダル収集が趣味でなければ、本ペダルの必要性はあまりないでしょう。
　プリアンプを所有しておらず豊かな低域と僅かな歪みが欲しい方の場合、なおかつ更に幅広い音質調整が欲しい場合は、VT Bass DIやTri-logic3も候補に入れると良いかもしれません。両者ともEQの調整幅が大きいですし、かなり激しい歪み（昔ながらのブリブリ系の歪み）まで音作りできますので。
　
　サイズ面からすると、本ペダルは小さ目なので、ペダルボードの縮小化を検討してる方であれば有力候補になりますね。
