TAKE 5 is a compact and powerful VCO/VCF-based 5-voice analog polyphonic synthesizer. It is portable enough to take anywhere, and is equipped with a high-quality full-size 44-key keyboard. The ""Low Split Function"" first installed in TAKE 5 allows you to play more than 44 keys.

Sequential has released the Take 5, a compact yet powerful 5-voice analog polyphonic synthesizer. Each voice features two analog oscillators and a 4-pole analog filter directly inherited from the Prophet-5. It promises the intuitive control of a classic synth and a true analog sound unattainable with software synthesizers. The Take 5 is designed as a small, lightweight, and portable instrument (63cm wide, 7.7kg) for easy playing anywhere, but without sacrificing playability. The newly adopted low-split function divides the keyboard into two halves, allowing you to transpose the bass line two octaves down for thick basslines and play chords in the treble line—transposing the bass line to create powerful basslines while playing chords in the treble line, pushing the limits of a 44-key keyboard! Despite its affordable price, it's fully equipped with modern sound-making features, including an advanced modulation matrix, a 64-step sequencer, and two digital effects.
