SEQUENTIAL（Dave Smith Instruments） / Prophet 6

The Prophet 6 is a 6-voice analog polyphonic synthesizer that inherits the philosophy of the legendary Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, the king of analog polyphonic synthesizers, released in 1978.

Inspired by the Prophet-5, it features true analog VCO, VCF, VCA, and ""polymodulation,"" one of the core elements of the Prophet-5 sound. Adding features such as a high-pass filter, studio-quality effects, a polyphonic step sequencer, and an arpeggiator, it achieves the vintage classic sound established by the Prophet-5 while enabling modern sound shaping and a wider range of higher-quality sounds. It delivers vintage sounds such as warm electric piano, rich brass, and enveloping strings, as well as breathtakingly beautiful and expansive sounds through effects. Among the 500 built-in factory preset sounds, there are presets created by John Bowen, the sound designer who worked on the Prophet-5's preset sounds, recreating the Prophet-5's sound. You can play those sounds used in countless famous songs. Approximately 40 years after the release of the Prophet-5 in 1978, the throne is passed from ""5"" to ""6"". The King of Analog Polyphonic Synthesizers has been born, destined to create countless legends in the history of music.
