UltraLite mk5 adopts ESS SABER DAC and realizes a dynamic range of 125dB. In addition to excellent sound quality, it boasts an ultra-low latency of 2.4 ms at the fastest. The UltraLite-mk5 is a flexible, mobile-ready USB 2.0 audio interface that combines ultra-low latency with superior analog audio quality at sample rates up to 192 kHz.
2 combo XLR / TRS, line / Hi-Z guitar inputs, 6 line level analog inputs, 10 analog outputs and 8-channel optical digital I / O, S / PDIF digital, and headphone out, everything you need. Equipped with input / output of, it covers all necessary input / output systems that are active in various situations in a compact housing.

The UltraLite-mk5 features a compact, rugged enclosure that you can take anywhere, whether you have a computer or not, in the studio or on stage. In addition to being used as an audio interface, the UltraLite-mk5 provides 18 inputs and 22 outputs as a stand-alone mixer, providing a total of 40 I / O channels to the field.

It connects to all audio equipment used in production, including speakers, headphones, microphones, guitars, synthesizers, keyboards, drum machines, effects processors, consumer Optical devices and MIDI gear.

■ Mixing and effector by internal DSP
It uses an onboard multibus mixer with built-in DSP processing to record, monitor, route, and process all live inputs. The latency due to internal processing is overwhelmingly short enough to surpass the experience, and it does not burden the computer processor and realizes comfortable performance.

■ Advanced extra channels other than physical ports
You can use the computer's "loopback" channel via USB for input and computing for livestreaming and podcasting.

11111ハーフラック多ポートではコスパ最高峰かも

正直なところFireface UCX2が手に入らない+大幅値上げで代替として目をつけたものだったのですが、想像以上に良かったです。
Scarlett 18i8+iFi iPowerで電源強化からの乗り換えですが解像度はデフォルト電源でも向上しました。
分解能も良く音が見えやすいのはメリットでしょう。
【難点】
難点、とはいえトレードオフですがボリュームノブがデジタルエンコーダーなのでCUEMIXを立ち上げていないとすぐに最小にできないのは弱みでしょうか。
またHi-Z切り替え不要な仕様もちょっと困惑します。
【その他】
あとはワードクロックがついていれば理想でしたが流石にブレイクアウトケーブルつけて更にポートを増やすとなると…はちょっと厳しい。
全部盛りであってほしいという場合はどうしても1UラックサイズかUCX2に行くしかないと思いますが、価格差を考えるとやはりベストチョイスのハイエンドオーディオインターフェースになるでしょう。
CUEMIX5も簡単に使えますが、マトリックス状のマッピングでルーティングが出来るとなおわかりやすくていいかもしれません。

11111音質・利便性・コスパ全て満足です

intel Mac時々Windows11環境での楽曲制作をメインに使用しています。
【出力】
6,7年間使った5万円台のインターフェースと比べて、出音の精度が大きく上がったことにまずは感動しました。
音の分離がよく、リバーブの消え際なども聴き取りやすくなりました。
MOTUの特徴についてはあまり詳しくないのですがフラットな印象の音質です。
【プリアンプ】
クセがなくノイズも少なくて使いやすいです。
【CueMix 5】
DSPミキサーのCueMixもミキサー卓のように直感的に操作ができ非常に使いやすいです。
内蔵DSPエフェクトがあるのもとても嬉しいポイントで、ゲート、コンプについては大満足です。
EQはQ幅を数値入力でしか変更できない（多分）のが不便ではありますが、IFの段階で追い込むことは私は無いのでまあいいかなと。
リバーブはルーム系で控えめ。レコーディング時のモニター用という感じなので、配信で遊んだりする用には物足りないかもですね。
【利便性】
豊富なLINE IN/OUTやADAT入出力で拡張性が高いのも安心感があります。
最近の製品ではオミットされることも少なくないMIDI端子も搭載。
角のないデザインと、長時間使用してもほんのり温かい程度の発熱で持ち出す際にもバッグに入れやすいです。
外観の雰囲気がこれまでのMOTU製品と比べてだいぶモダンな感じになったのも個人的に嬉しいですね笑
【総評】
少し予算を上げてRMEのUCXとも迷いました。UCX IIになってだいぶ値上がりしたのもあり購入前は少し妥協した感があったのですが、結果としてとても満足な買い物でした。（解像度は流石にRMEの方が更に上かなという気もしますが、外部スタジオのモニター環境でしか使ったことがないので割愛します。）
他の方のレビューを見ると初期不良がちらほらあるようですが、サウンドハウスさんの対応の良さを考えたら急ぎでない限りは大丈夫かなあと思います。（ハイリゾの方は置いといて…）

828mk3から乗り換えました。音が断然良くなって分離もよいです。モニターアプリのCueMix5もシンプルでわかりやすい。同価格帯で迷っているならオススメです。

11111コストパフォーマンスと高出力　そしてCUEMIX5

　前提として評価5はハーフラックサイズまでの10Ch、価格を考慮しての点数です。
　絶対評価値であればそもそもハーフラックはフルラックにかないません。
　先ず出力が大きいです。メインもヘッドフォンアウトも大きいです。
　少なくともこの機種を使用していてヘッドフォンアウトで音量不足に悩まされることはないです。
　アンテやRMEだと8割まで上げるところ5割でいけます。
　音はMOTUの音です。硬い。
　リスニング系のヘッドフォンで聴く分にはヘッドフォンの持ち味を100%引き出してくれます。
　モニターヘッドフォンで聴けば録りやmixの粗を探すのに困る事は有りません。
　PC側にパフォーマンスが求められますが、十分なスペックのPCを使用しTypeC 3.1で接続すれば2.4msの超低遅延を実測で出せます。※ryzen3800 メモリ64GB SSD win10pro環境
　MOTU機種でハーフラックサイズまでを検討する場合、AVBが不要ならmk5一択です。
　理由はオペレーションアプリケーションのCUEMIX5です。
　旧来の機種のCUEMIXから一新され非常に使いやすく、安定し自由度が高いルーティングが可能になっています。
　オーディオインターフェースは機種は更新されながらもアプリケーションはフルモデルチェンジされず古いソフトのアップデートを繰り返されることが多いですが、このモデルでは一新されています。
　音質、遅延、入力チャンネル数、出力を考慮するとハーフラックではコストパフォーマンスは最高と思います。
　これより上を求めるならフルラックサイズでしょう。
　MOTU製品の弱点であった取扱説明書が非常に親切になりました。初めての方でも使いこなせると思います。
　バスパワーでない所も良いです。バスパワーは不安定ですしPC側がハイエンドGPUを積んでいたりするとジッタノイズにも悩まされます。
　レベルメータの反応が極めて良く、滑らかです。
　10CH迄のハーフラックであれば現状で最良の選択肢と思います。

1111コスパ良い

そこそこ値段のするインターフェースの中でも、かなりコスパが良い。
入出力ともに音質が良く、入出力数も多い。
そこまで大きくもないので、卓上にも無理なく置けるし、大して熱くもならない。
CueMixも非常に使いやすい。
ただ一点、ヘッドホン・スピーカーの出力調整の所でダブルクリックすると、出力がマックスになる仕様がある。
かなり危ない仕様なので、CueMixをいじる時は再生を止めてから行うなど注意した方が良い。
