NEKTAR / SE25 is a compact mini 25-key MIDI keyboard.
■MIDI Keyboard
■Mini 25-Key

The SE25 is one of the best solutions for mobile production. Nektar's most compact MIDI keyboard controller to date is about the width of a laptop, yet offers everything you need for music creation on the go: 25 mini keys, six control buttons, and Nektar DAW integration.

A Keyboard for Mobile
The keys are the most important section of a MIDI keyboard controller, as they communicate your performances and musical ideas to your computer.

The SE25 is designed to fit in any backpack, but playability shouldn't be compromised. That's why Nektar developed a new velocity-sensitive mini keybed for the SE25—ensuring a solid, stable playing feel despite its incredibly compact size. Plus, you can adjust the keyboard's response with three different velocity curves to suit your playing style.

The ""Part 2"" feature doubles your expressive fun
By pressing the dedicated ""2"" button while you play, you can instantly shift several octaves, add a harmonic layer, or switch to a different MIDI channel. This unique ""Part 2"" feature lets you express yourself in ways that aren't possible even on keyboards with far more keys than the SE25!

The key is that the SE25's setting reverts to its original setting the moment you release your finger from the ""2"" button. This means you can switch between two different keyboard settings in real time. It's truly a performance-oriented feature!

The ""2"" button can be assigned to octave, MIDI channel, transpose, layer, latch, or any combination of these.

Six buttons for performance
Pitch bend, modulation, and sustain are important elements of a dynamic keyboard performance. That's why the controls are small enough to fit the body size and allow for quick access.

The six buttons on the left side of the keyboard are assigned to octave shift, transpose shift, and sustain, but you can also remap the transpose button to pitch bend, MIDI volume, pan, track select*, or patch change* as needed. You can also change the ""S (Sustain)"" button to trigger modulation.

*Requires Nektar DAW Integration for your DAW.

Nektar DAW Integration
Give your trackpad or mouse a break and control your DAW's transport and track selection directly from the SE25. Press the Play and Rewind buttons simultaneously to instantly enter Transport mode, enabling DAW control through the custom Nektar DAW Integration software.

The SE25's Nektar DAW Integration** supports Bitwig, Cubase, Garageband, Logic, Nuendo, Digital Performer, Mixcraft, Reason, Reaper, Sonar, and Studio One.

** To use Nektar DAW Integration, you must register your SE25 on the Nektar website and download and install the integration file from your user account.

Includes Bitwig 8-Track, the DAW for instant composition and performance!
The SE25 comes with Bitwig 8-Track. This 8-track version of the DAW lets you immediately start producing, performing, and designing music. Bitwig 8-Track includes over 50 software instruments and effects, allowing you to create music on up to eight audio or MIDI tracks. You can also use commercially available VST plug-ins. The included ""Bitwig Essentials Package"" offers easy-to-use loops, clips, and samples to support those trying their hand at composing for the first time. Inheriting the functionality and appeal of the higher-end Bitwig Studio, it's a compelling music tool that serves both as a high-level production tool and a powerful sketchpad for developing musical ideas.

Nektar's DAW integration also supports Bitwig 8-Track. The SE25 and Bitwig 8-Track make a wonderful combination that will enrich your music production life. It's the perfect combination for those embarking on their digital music production journey. Even those already familiar with other DAWs will find inspiration on a whole new level.

Officially imported in Japan only! Includes the full version of UVI Digital Synsations, packed with digital synth sounds!
The landscape surrounding synthesizers began to change from the late '80s to the early '90s. Manufacturers developed models featuring large, matte-black cabinets with as few knobs and controls as possible, flashy LCD screens, and neatly arranged buttons, gracing records and stages alike. The distinctive sounds and technological advances of these digital instruments strongly influenced the music of the time, and their interplay ushered in the era of digital synths.

Unlike previous analog synths, these digital synths were not easily editable. However, they were equipped with a number of attractive, cutting-edge features for the time, including high polyphony, built-in sequencers and pattern memory, expansion memory slots, and digital effects. In addition, digital processing enabled some models to adopt new synthesis methods that combined sample playback with traditional techniques, providing synth players and musicians with unprecedented possibilities.

Digital Synsations is a digital synth collection that preserves the tones and textures of four iconic models from the fascinating '90s, including the KORG M1.
