TASCAM / DR-70D

The TASCAM DR-70D is a 4-track linear PCM recorder that supports 96kHz/24bit. It can be attached to a digital SLR camera or video camera to enhance the audio quality of your videos. Equipped with a built-in stereo microphone and four XLR inputs, it meets the needs of a wide range of production environments, from entry-level users to professionals.

Its robust yet compact housing allows it to be attached either above or below the camera, and its built-in stereo microphone makes it easy to record on its own. By combining the built-in microphone and XLR microphone inputs, you can expand the variety of setups without sacrificing mobility, for example, by connecting the built-in microphone for ambience and a gunshot microphone for interviews to the XLR input.

Equipped with a mixer with adjustable pan and level, allowing for four-channel mixed output.

Five-stage low-cut filter (40/80/120/180/220Hz) eliminates unwanted low frequencies from air conditioning equipment and other sources.

Limiter function automatically adjusts for excessive input (stereo linking possible for 1/L and 2/R).

Equipped with a delay (+/-150ms) that compensates for microphone distance.

MS decoding function enables the use of mid-side stereo microphones.

Slate tone insertion function (AUTO/MANUAL).

File name. The format can be set to either a user word or date.

Dual recording function allows simultaneous recording of two tracks at different levels (adjustable from -1dB to -12dB).

When the preset maximum file size is reached, a new file is created and recording continues.

Track increment function allows files to be updated at any position during recording.

Resume function remembers the playback position when the power is turned off.

Mark function allows up to 99 points to be set per song (mark information can be used with BWF-compatible software).
