This 2-way, 3-inch powered studio monitor is part of the Genelec 8000 Series, a classic studio monitor. Its highly efficient Class D amplifier delivers high output (25W high frequency + 25W low frequency). Genelec's unique acoustic engineering theory delivers accurate, faithful sound. Its rounded, sophisticated exterior and dark gray color were designed by renowned industrial designer Harri Koskinen.

The active monitor features a balanced XLR input, a 3-inch woofer, a 3/4-inch tweeter, and two Class D power amplifiers. It also features Genelec ISS (Intelligent Signal Sensing) circuitry, which automatically detects system inactivity and switches to an environmentally friendly, power-saving standby mode.
