■A.R.E. [Acoustic Resonance Enhancement] is a wood modification technology developed exclusively by Yamaha. Applying this technology to the guitar's body material delivers a rich, mellow tone that sounds like it's been played for years. By precisely controlling temperature, humidity, and air pressure without using any chemicals, we achieve rapid changes similar to those experienced in aged wood. This improves sound transmission and vibration efficiency, promotes the extension of mid- and low-frequency components, and accelerates the attack and decay of high-frequency components. This results in a well-balanced, mature, warm sound with fewer harsh overtones.
■ The non-scalloped X-bracing structure used in the ""L Series"" has been further improved using the latest analytical and modeling technology and expert craftsmanship. It maximizes the natural resonance of the wood, delivering deeper, richer mid- and low-frequency sounds.
■ Detail improvements have been made to string spacing, string height, fingerboard binding, neck taper, and more. A new neck shape has been created to better fit guitarists. The newly designed neck provides a stable grip and smooth playability from high to low positions.
■ All models feature a double-action truss rod that applies force in both forward and backward bow directions. This allows for more precise neck adjustment.
■Features a five-layer neck made of mahogany and rosewood. The five-layer neck is less prone to warping and twisting, maintaining stable neck condition.
■Features a newly developed passive pickup. Piezo elements are installed for each string below the saddle. This passive pickup does not require a power source in the guitar body, and there is no preamp or battery box attached to the guitar itself, faithfully reproducing the dynamic sound of the L series while maintaining the appearance of an acoustic guitar. While minimizing the pickup's impact on the natural sound, it delivers a distinctive presence even when playing in a band.
