■ The new 'HS Series' employs a newly developed transducer with an advanced magnetic circuit design that controls and equalizes the flow of magnetic field lines. Combined with the re-selection and optimization of acoustic components, this achieves a dramatic improvement in playback capabilities.

The 'HS5', 'HS7', and 'HS8' feature a newly developed high-performance 1-inch dome tweeter and a thick waveguide designed to minimize resonance. This combination extends the high-frequency reproduction range to 30kHz, enabling accurate and smooth high-frequency reproduction. Furthermore, the newly developed, dedicated woofer, employing a large magnet, boasts excellent response and high power handling, achieving controlled bass with minimal distortion at any volume. In addition, the re-selection and optimal design of acoustic components such as the woofer ring and basket have resulted in a well-defined bass response.

■ The power amplifier section employs a bi-amp system, amplifying the high and low frequency ranges with dedicated power amplifiers. The high-performance amplifier units, optimized for each model, consistently deliver high-quality, uniform sound with minimal tonal variation.

■ The enclosure of the 'HS Series' is designed to thoroughly eliminate unwanted resonance, enhancing the accuracy of original sound reproduction. In addition to using MDF material with high rigidity and uniform acoustic characteristics, the joint employs a three-way joint, a technique long used in wooden construction for superior strength. By seamlessly combining the interlocking grooves on the joint surfaces of the wood, it ensures strength far superior to simple surface joints, reducing noise caused by resonance.


■ The rear panel features ROOM CONTROL, which corrects the emphasis on low frequencies when speakers are placed near a wall, enabling accurate monitoring. It also includes HIGH TRIM, allowing for precise balance adjustments to suit the room and application. The input terminals include both XLR and TRS phone jacks, providing flexible support for a wide range of use cases, including output from mixers, keyboards, and audio interfaces.
