CROWN / XTi 6002 Stereo Power Amplifier

The CROWN (AMCRON)/XTi6002 is a power amplifier equipped with a high-performance DSP, providing high output performance and ample power for driving even large speakers. The LCD display allows for easy access to various settings, including crossover, equalizer, delay, and limiter. The dedicated Band Manager 2 software also allows for more advanced settings on a PC.

The XTi 6002 weighs just 10.9 kg and fits into a lightweight, compact 2U EIA enclosure, delivering class-leading output performance. It features a low-heat, highly efficient switching power supply and a proprietary Class-I amplifier circuit that delivers powerful power with minimal power consumption. Its 2Ω stereo output delivers 3,000W + 3,000W, while its 4Ω bridged mono output delivers a whopping 6,000W, ample power to drive not only large speakers but also line array speakers with multiple cabinets. It also features a Peak X Plus limiter with precise threshold, attack, and release settings to maximize output performance. Its lightweight and portable design make it ideal for temporary PA systems.

The XTi 6002's high-performance DSP enables a variety of audio processing functions without the need for a separate processor. The crossover slope can be freely selected from Butterworth (6, 12, 18, 24, 48 dB/octave) or Linkwitz-Riley (24, 48 dB/octave), and the frequency can be set to any value in 1 Hz increments. Each channel is equipped with 8-point input and 6-point output parametric EQ and up to 50 ms of delay. Additionally, a subharmonic synthesizer synthesizes ultra-low frequencies based on the input signal, producing powerful, deep bass. A pink noise generator is also provided for convenient system checks. Up to 49 DSP settings can be saved as presets internally and instantly recalled, making setup quick and easy. Detailed DSP settings and preset storage can be performed using the HiQnet SystemArchitect software on a PC connected via USB. The dedicated HiQnet Band Manager software for the XTi is also available.

The XTi 6002's input signal can be routed internally. A link terminal is also provided for branching the input signal. The unit is equipped with two output terminals: a binding post and a Speakon connector. The front panel also features a large, backlit LCD display for recalling presets and configuring DSP settings. It also features a lock function to prevent display operation. Furthermore, a handle integrated into the cast aluminum front panel makes it easy to carry. Specifications
